Stuarts Draft is a census-designated place in Augusta County, Virginia, United States. The population was 9,235 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Staunton–Waynesboro Micropolitan Statistical Area. It has been called the Warehouse capital of the U.S. because of the seven warehouse/factories including Target Corporation distribution , Hershey Chocolate of Virginia, McKee Foods, Hollister Inc, Nibco, Ply Gem, and Sayre factory.     James Madison's Montpelier, located in Orange County, Virginia, was the plantation house of the Madison family, including fourth President of the United States, James Madison, and his wife Dolley. The 2,650-acre property is open seven days a week with the mission of engaging the public with the enduring legacy of Madison's most powerful idea: government by the people.
