3. Deutsches Panzermuseum Munster
The German Tank Museum is an armoured fighting vehicle museum in Munster, Germany, the location of the Munster Training Area camp . Its main aim is the documentation of the history of German armoured troops since 1917. It originated in 1983 from the instructional collection of the Panzertruppenschule, the Bundeswehr school for training officers and NCOs of German armoured units. It is now a museum open to the public, jointly run by the municipality of Munster and the Lehrsammlung der Panzertruppen und Heeresaufklärungstruppe am Ausbildungszentrum Munster. The museum site covers an area of over 9,000 square metres . including 7,500 square metres of exhibition halls. In 2003 the museum opened a new building for special displays, a museum shop and a cafeteria.

Uelzen is a railway station located in Uelzen, Germany, at the eastern edge of the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park. The station is located on the Hannover–Hamburg railway, Uelzen–Langwedel railway, Stendal–Uelzen railway and Brunswick–Uelzen railway. The train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn, Metronom and Erixx. The original station was renovated for Expo 2000 following plans by the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. As an environmentally culturally oriented station, the Uelzen station is now marketed as the Hundertwasser-Bahnhof Uelzen . Today it is one of the town's popular tourist attractions.

Weltvogelpark Walsrode is the largest bird park in the world in terms of species as well as land area , It covers 24 hectares and houses some 4,400 birds of over 675 species from every continent and climatic zone in the world. The Weltvogelpark Walsrode celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2012.

7. Castle Marienburg Pattensen B Hannover
Calenberg Castle was a medieval lowland castle in central Germany, near Schulenburg in the borough of Pattensen, 13 km west of the city of Hildesheim. It was built as a water castle in 1292 by the Welf duke, Otto the Strict, in der Leine river meadows between 2 branches of the Leine river on the southern part of the chalk marl hill of the Calenberg. At the start of the 16th century it was converted into a fort . In the 15th century, Fort Calenberg gave its name to the Welf Principality of Calenberg. Following the Thirty Years' War it lost its military importance and was slighted. Today it is a ruin with underground vaults that are surrounded by high ramparts.

Hier nun der 16. Teil meiner Reihe Rundlinge im Wendland, Heute Ganse

Die Samtgemeinde Lüchow möchte die Rundlinge als Weltkulturerbe anerkennen lassen. Grund genug für mich, euch in dieser neuen Reihe einmal die Rundlinge im Wendland vorzustellen. Zunächst die 19 Orte, die in der vorläufigen Auswahl stehen. Später zeige ich euch noch andere Rundlinge, die es vielleicht auch verdient hätten.
