4. Use the footpaths wherever possible to walk or else you might end up in a traffic commotion.
5. Some places in Nepal strictly accept only Nepali rupees. So it is better to keep some Nepali denomination in hand always.
6. Taxis are easily available in all places,and not much bargain is needed,as prices are reasonable.
7. Smiling faces can be seen everywhere,and most people will help

Sunsari District (Nepali: सुनसरी जिल्ला

(help·info)), a part of Province No. 1 in Terai plain, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal in Terai plain of Southern Nepal. The district, with Inaruwa as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,257 km² and at the 2011 census had a population of 763,487.[1]
The area was originally part of Morang District but became its own district in 1962 when Nepal was divided into 14 zones and 75 districts.
Major cities in Sunsari district are Inaruwa, Itahari, Jhumka and Dharan, Duhabi, and Mahendranagar. Some religious places of this district are Budha Subba Temple ,Ramdhuni, Chataradham ( prachin haridwar), Baraha Kshetra, Bishnupaduka, Dantakali, and Pindeshori.
Sunsari lies in the Outer Terai-Madhesh plain of Nepal.

Dharan धरान is one of the major cities, one of three Sub Metropolitan cities in eastern Nepal, in the Sunsari District, and is situated on the foothills of the Mahabharat Range in the north with its southern tip touching the edge of the Terai region at an altitude of 1148 ft (349m). It serves as a trading post between the hilly region and the plains of Terai region. It was once the location of a recruitment center for the Brigade of Gurkhas, opened in 1953. The recruitment center is closed and the campus is now the home of B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences since 1993. Dharan Sub-metropolitan city organised a Golden Jubilee celebration of Dharan from January 28 to January 31, 2011 marking the 50th year of establishment of the municipality. It is the second-largest city of Eastern Nepal. It is also known as the soccer/footballer producing factory of Nepal.

Barahachhetra is a Hindu pilgrimage sites in Barahakshetra Municipality of Sunsari District of Province No. 1 of Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 8602 people living in 1695 individual households.Among 4 chhetra in Hindu mythology 2 falls in India and 2 in Nepal that is Kurukshetra & Dharmachhetra in India and Barahachhetra & Muktinath or Muktichhetra in Nepal.
Lord Vishnu, by taking the incarnation of Varaha or Baraha protected the earth from being submerged into Patala (underworld) with his long tusk. Then the Lord sat with his wife Laxmi at the bank of Koshi River and the lap of Himalayas and hills. So, the place bore its name after that event. There is a big and beautiful image of the Baraha incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Kumba mela
In every 12 year kumbha mela is organizing since 2058 B.S. in Chataradham. The second kumbha mela was held in 2070 B.S. It is of One month. This time more than 6 lakhs people visited.
