Sixteen hundred metres deep and sixteen kilometres long the Grand Canyon is the most colossal gorge in the world. The sight of this gigantic natural wonder is the climax of any trip to Arizona and each year around five million visitors come to see this, the ‘Eighth Wonder Of The World’. Natural wonders, amazing sights, boundless wealth and incredible neon: America’s west still has the call of the wild!

Fled to the U.S. from the Yemeni civil war in 1995, the Yemeni couple, Abdul and his wife Arwa started their catering business purely from their passion in hosting big groups and treating people with homemade food. Later, they opened up House of Mandi in 2015 while continuing to serve large catering and party orders. Our friend who lived in the Middle East for some time said this is by far the best Yemeni restaurant in the DMV area. House of Mandi was featured in the Arlington Magazine in May 2017 as well. How proud!

A quick video before dinner while we were sitting outside La Taberna del Obispo in Málaga. It was cold, but we were determined to enjoy the scenery while we ate. Located in the square adjacent to the Cathedral, it was an easy place to stop in and eat shortly after arriving into Málaga.

All sorts of people live in this community. Some are homeless because they lost their jobs. Others are employed, but still couldn't afford to keep their homes. Nevertheless, they haven't lost their hope for a better future. They're fighting to protect 'Tent City' against the local government that wants to demolish it. North vs. South INDIA... Two Different Worlds
On my last trip to India, I visited only the North and that's what I thought all of India was like.
This trip, I did only the South and it's completely opposite from the North in every way imaginable!
The best way to think about India is like Europe. When you move from one Indian state to the next -- the culture, cuisine, language and weather all change in the same way that you'd experience by hopping European countries.
