THE 5 BEST BEACHES IN THE SOUTH OF SRI LANKA- Tangalle - Bentota - Hikkaduwa - Unawatuna - Mirissa
I have ranked the best beaches in the south of Sri Lanka to be 5.Tangalle 4.Bentota 3.Hikkaduwa 2.Unawatuna and 1.Marissa.
Like I say in the video although l am counting down to my favourite beach, my least favourite & favourite is only marginally apart.
I also mention Dalawella beach, jungle beach, whale watching & turtle rescues centre. Each of these beaches have something unique about them that make them all worth visiting.

Tangalle is home to one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. Not only that, it also has Hirekitiya beach which is famous for surfing in Sri Lanka. Although this country hasn't been visited a lot yet, every extra day we spend here we feel it might be one of the best Asian countries to visit and definitely a great option for your perfect beach, which is exactly what we experienced today, check it out!

MIRISSA, SRI LANKA - THE END OF THE SOUTH COAST | VLOG #35
Mirissa is one of the most popular beach towns of Sri Lanka, mostly for activities such as Mirissa beach, whale watching dolphin watching. As usual we went out looking for less touristy spots and actually found a beautiful spot called Secret Beach. We also went to explore the main beach of Mirissa and shine some light on the 'boobs' and 'ass' shape of that. You'll see in the video what we mean with that.

10 Best Beaches in Sri Lanka - East/South/West Coast (Tropical Escape #2)
In this episode I show you the best beaches in Sri Lanka from the west coast over the south coast to the lesser know east coast - along the way we sample some street food and checkout the wildlife.

Sri Lanka is a year-round holiday destination with two monsoon seasons and is home to some incredible beaches on both sides of the island. If you want to go to the south and west coast of Sri Lanka the best time to visit is from December to April. For the east coast the time between April and August is best.
We start our journey in Beruwala and Bentota, this very long sand beach is without any doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka and only a 2h drive from the capital. The next stops are the beaches of Hikkaduwa and Unawatuna close to Galle.
Further down south you can find Mirissa, a relaxed little town which is a popular starting point for whale watching, too. Afterwards it’s time to spot some wildlife in the Yala National Park which has also a beach...but swimming is not allowed, so we’ll go for a leopard safari instead.
The east coast of Sri Lanka is still fairly unknown, therefore I decided to show you this part of the island more in-depth starting with Arugam Bay, a popular surf spot. Pasikudah is a longer drive to the north which is totally worth it - the locals even state it is the most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka!
Our last stop is Trincomalee in the north east of the country with its wide beaches of Uppuveli and Nilaveli. A short boat ride off the main land you should visit Pigeon island which has not only a beautiful beach but an incredible maritime life…so make sure to bring some snorkeling gear!
This part of the trip was executed within 2weeks by using buses, trains, cars and a domestic flight (Trincomalee-Colombo) - following I list all the places I visited & Things to do on the coast of Sri Lanka:

1) Goyambokka Beach
Small and secluded beach with a rustic feeling to it. The waves are milder than other places so it's easier to swim. Goyambokka is right next to Anantara Resort.
2) Silent Beach
Probably the most beautiful of all! The waters are turquoise, clear and the sand is pristine. Amanwella Resort is located here.
3) Hiriketiya Beach
A beach for the surfer's lovers! This beach is a cool hangout with many bars and cafes. Family friendly.
4) Tangalle Beach
Super long beach perfect for going on walks. Waters tend to be rough but there's some quiet areas to swim. We loved spending our time at Mangrove Chalet & Villas. They have the most idyllic bar set up.
5) Dikwella Beach
Wide and long beach. Perfect if you want to avoid crowds.
