Although its facade has been modernized, there are still some vintage components in use, for example, an unusual fire service setup. In this elevator, the call cancel button is enabled even when phase 2 fire service is off. Also, the fire service is only on or off and features neither a bypass control in the lobby nor a hold control within the cab. Also, I believe that this elevator still features original direction indicators on the landing floors, as suggested by the bizarre and almost hidden placement behind other building fixtures. On the 4th floor landing, the indicators were wired incorrectly, causing both the up and down indicators to illuminate whenever the elevator arrives.
