I was invited to Tampa to see if I thought travellers were missing out by not including the Tampa Bay area in any Florida trip. I found the city was very dynamic and had a lot going on. Please join me on this tour of one of my favorite beaches in the Tampa - Clearwater - St. Pete area. Fred Howard Park is located in Tarpon Springs and is one of those locals spots, one of the off the beaten path beach spots. There is also many pavilions for picnic and events but at the end of a long causeway there is the beach of Fred Howard Park. It is only $5 to stay all day too. Its a perfect getaway for the family or a more economic and less stressful place to relax compared to the commercial beaches near by. I hope you enjoy our journey today.
