Georgia is the 24th largest and the 8th most populous of the 50 United States. From 2007 to 2008, 14 of Georgia's counties ranked among the nation's 100 fastest-growing,
second only to Texas. Georgia is known as the Peach State and the Empire State of the South. Atlanta is the state's capital and its most populous city.

Albany is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia and the seat of Dougherty County. Located in southwest Georgia, it is the principal city of the Albany, Georgia metropolitan area. The population was 77,434 at the 2010 U.S. Census, making it the eighth-largest city in Georgia.
Albany is located in southwestern Georgia, 78 mi (126 km) southeast of Columbus, 151 mi (243 km) south of Atlanta, 93 mi (150 km) southwest of Macon, 39 mi (63 km) west of Tifton, and 73 mi (117 km) northwest of Valdosta.
As of the census of 2010, there were 77,434 people, 29,781 households, and 18,515 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,385.5 people per square mile (535.0/km²). There were 33,436 housing units at an average density of 577.3 per square mile (222.9/km²).
The racial makeup of the city was 71.6% African American and Black, 25.2% White, 0.2% Native American, 0.8% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 0.9% from other races, and 1.1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.1% of the population.
Of the 29,781 total households, 29.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 29.7% were married couples living together, 27.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.8% were non-families. Households of individuals living alone made up 31.8% of the total, and 9.4% were someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 3.11.
In the city, the population was spread out, with 27.8% under the age of 18, 13.0% from 18 to 24, 27.7% from 25 to 44, 19.6% from 45 to 64, and 11.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31.4 years. For every 100 females there were 85.6 males. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 116.7 females.
The median household income in the city was $25,191, and the median income for a family was $35,067. Males had a median income of $31,104 versus $27,407 for females. The per capita income for the city was $16,117. About 31.9% of families and 39.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 55.4% of those under age 18 and 13.8% of those persons age 65 and over.

In 2004, we toured Waycross, Georgia's Rice Hump Yard, observing from the control tower and watching as new train consists were assembled in the yard below us, as the superintendent explained the procedure for us. (Sorry about the poor Super 8 camcorder footage, but you do get the feel and sound of the experience.)

On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, we took a trip down to Oak Hill Farms in The Rock, Georgia for a bridal expo, and decided the only way to do justice to this gorgeous venue was to fly our DJI Mavic Pro and capture stunning 4K aerial footage!! Thank you for having us, we look forward to filming weddings there :)
Note: Be sure to watch in 4K to really enjoy the visuals!
P.S. We used some DJI ND filters for the first time here, and were extremely pleased with the results. Just like we need sunglasses, so do cameras sometimes!
