Holiday in Tribunj near Vodice - the best from Croatia!
Tribunj: The picturesque Dalmatian village and the accompanying Sovlje are located in the heart of the Šibenik-Knin county. The advantage of Tribunj is its geographic position and the fact that it is divided into urban, mainland part and the peninsular historical core which now houses the municipal buildings, the Tourist Board office, post, rectory, cultural centre and a few hospitality establishments. The authentic image of compact houses and narrow streets is completed by a beautiful view of the two islands of the Tribunj archipelago - Lukovnjak and Logorun.
Although it has focused on tourism in the last few decades, Tribunj is still recognized for fishing and olive growing, two main industry branches that have always been the local population's means of income. According to the census from 2011, Tribunj has 578 households and 1526 permanent residents.
The Tribunj hinterland with field and cycling paths and trails cutting across typical Dalmatian olive groves and plantations of vines and thus leading visitors to panoramic sites on the Križine hill serve as an invitation to all cyclists, mountaineers and walkers to experience the magic of this region and get a complete and picturesque overview of Tribunj.
What to visit:
We recommend that you visit sacral heritage monuments and climb the Sv. Nikola hill to see the remains of the Jurjevgrad fort, old cemetery and panoramic site boasting a beautiful view of the archipelago and the Kornatio NP on the one side and of Tribunj and a part of the Šibenik riviera on the other.
To get the full experience of a typical Dalmatian village you must take a stroll through old and narrow streets of the peninsula alive with history and try local fish specialities in one of the establishments.
The Tribunj hinterland is intersected with drystone walls, olives and vineyard, has an authentic Dalmatian vibe and gives a good overview of Tribunj and Sovlje, especially if you take Olive roads to explore the surroundings.

Be sure to visit the islands and their hidden coves and do not miss the donkey reservation on the nearby Logorun. These are only parts of the puzzle that gives the visitor a feeling of Tribunj. It is up to you to discover as many and have a good time.

Drage, Sibenik, Krka mit dem Sportboot - Croatia 2018
Wir sind in Drage gestartet. An der Außenseite von Otok Murter ging es dann nach Tribunj, Vodice und dann in die Krka hinein. Entlang an Sibenik sind wir durch den Krka Canyon gefahren. Auf dem Rückweg haben wir dem Kreuzfahrtschiff Queen Elizabeth einen Besuch abgestattet. Anschließend ging es wieder zurück nach Drage inklusive Tisno Passage. Unterwegs haben wir unsere Bootstour mit der Drohne gefilmt.
