THINGS TO DO IN GEORGIA (COUNTRY) // TRAVEL SPECIAL // FROM HERE
What an amazing trip this has been. For this travel special, we went to Georgia country and travelled the country mainly by marshrutka. We kicked our visit off with a 4 day hike from Mestia to Ushguli, which was an absolute dream during indian summer (october). Then, we went to Batumi to rest and relax after which we went to Borjomi national park. A dream! From that park we got to visit the Khertvisi fortress, Vardzia caves and Rabati castle. Something you definitely have to check out yourself. Another tip: take the Borjomi train! We ended our stay with a visit to Sighnaghi and Telavi, tasting Georgian wine, a horseback ride and a stunning visit to Udabno and the Gavid Gareja monastery. The view to Azerbeidzjan was incredible.
