Cedar Breaks National Monument is a U.S. National Monument located in the U.S. state of Utah near Cedar City. Cedar Breaks is a natural amphitheater, stretching across 3 miles , with a depth of over 2,000 feet . The elevation of the rim of the amphitheater is over 10,000 feet above sea level. The eroded rock of the amphitheater is more eroded than, but otherwise similar to formations at nearby Bryce Canyon National Park, Red Canyon in Dixie National Forest and select areas of Cedar Mountain . Because of its elevation, snow often makes parts of the park inaccessible to vehicles from October through May. Its rim visitor center is open from June through October. 2. Big Cottonwood Canyon Salt Lake City
Big Cottonwood Creek is one of the largest streams entering Salt Lake Valley from the east from the Wasatch Mountains. The creek flows through the Big Cottonwood Canyon in a westerly direction until it emerges into Salt Lake Valley about eighteen miles from its highest source. Thence its course is northwesterly through Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, and Murray, Utah until it empties into the Jordan River about five miles south of Salt Lake City. In the summer its waters are all used for irrigation purposes. From its source to its original outlet into the Jordan River is a distance of about twenty six miles.

The Provo Utah Temple is the 17th constructed and 15th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . Located in the city of Provo, Utah, it was built with a modern single-spire design, similar to the original design of the Ogden Utah Temple. Since Provo’s early years, a hill just northeast of downtown Provo was known as Temple Hill. Instead of a temple, however, the Maeser Building was built on the hill in 1911 as a part of the Brigham Young University campus. The Buckskin Gulch, a canyon in southern Utah, is one of the main tributaries of the Paria River, which is itself a minor tributary of the Colorado River. It is the longest and deepest slot canyon in the southwest United States and may be the longest in the world. As such it is one of the premier destinations for slot canyon hikers, and receives a high amount of foot traffic. At over 13 miles in length it is often visited in conjunction with the longer Paria Canyon, although some prefer to make a long day trip out of the hike. With a distance of 20 miles , hiking this canyon in one day is possible. Wire Pass, a short tributary to the Buckskin, is an ideal alternative for a short day hike that still takes hikers through the narrow, curving features that are the hallmark of slot canyons.

My Last Trip Day in State of Utah
In this last episode of my trip to the beautiful State of Utah, I am leaving my hotel room in early morning when sky is still dark and drive for forty five minutes from City of Moab to get to Canyonlands National Park for seeing the sunrise over canyon. The moment of sunrise over the canyon was breathtaking and spectacular. The peace was ruling the entire canyon. I’ve never had such an incredible feeling before. Canyonlands National Park is a great destination for hikers and visitors to find such incredible unique canyons formed over million years of erosion and rock formation. There are multiple destinations and trailheads to start a good day hike. One of the famous landmarks of Canyonlands National Park is Mesa Arch on top of a 500 feet (152 meter) cliff with the overlook of Buck Canyon. By looking through the arch, a great keyhole view of the White Rim country can be seen. During sunrise, a great reflection of sunlight will glow the bottom of arch which adds-up to its beauty.

Island in the Sky is another stop in Canyonlands National Park which gives a different overlook and perspective on Canyonlands National Park spectacular landscape and the Colorado River. This river as a masterpiece art creator, formed the canyons over million of the years.
While visiting that area, it would be a great idea to make a stop at Dead Horse Point State Park to have a great viewpoint at 2000 feet (600 meter) above a gooseneck in the Colorado River. This state park is a continues land from the Canyonlands National Park with less than twenty minutes driving distance.
As my last stop before I conclude my trip, I went to Arches National Park in Moab not too far from Canyonlands. The driving experience through the Arches National Park on Arches Scenic Drive is super amazing. The rock formations and arches spread over desert of Utah. There are several great hiking trails with great rewarding points. Landmarks such as Balanced Rock, The Devils Garden, and Delicate Arch are some to name.

In the afternoon, I hit the road to east for getting to Denver in Colorado since my return flight back home was from there.
