Vanse is a village in Farsund municipality in Vest-Agder county, Norway. The village is located about 4 kilometres west of the town of Farsund and about 5 kilometres east of the village of Vestbygd. The Farsund Airport, Lista is located just west of Vanse. The village was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Lista from 1838 until its dissolution in 1965. Lista is a former municipality in Vest-Agder county in Norway. The 193-square-kilometre municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1965. The administrative centre was the village of Vanse where Vanse Church is located. Lista municipality was historically known as the municipality of Vanse until 1911. The former municipality's land is now located in the present-day municipality of Farsund. Farsund Airport, Lista is located here, but it has not had any regularly scheduled commercial flights since 1999; however, there are discussions to use it as a base for offshore operations. Lista is located on a large peninsula along the Listafjorden and is home to the villages of Vestbygd and Vanse and the town of Farsund.

The Kråkenes lighthouse is located on Norway’s western coast, an area notorious for its harsh weather climate. The lighthouse belongs to the community of Vågsøy, located in the Nordfjord region, Sogn og Fjordane. You will find Vågsøy and its largest town, Måløy, on the map between Ålesund and Bergen.

Refviksanden Beach with its beautiful silver sand, the 1,5 km long beach is one of Norway`s finest swimming beaches. Refvik is approx. 10 km from Måløy
