  • 1. Lesya Ukrainka Central Park Lutsk
    Lesya Ukrainka street is a central pedestrian street in Lutsk, Ukraine, running from Fellowship Bridge Square to the city's central Theatre Square. The street is 730 metres long, and is the main street of the northern and eastern areas of the Glushets suburb of Lutsk. There have been at least ten churches and monasteries located on the street. The street began to develop with more intensity during the eighteenth century when the city began to extend along the street's path. It became the main street in the city in the early 19th century. In the 1980s, it became a pedestrian-only street. The street was renamed to Lesya Ukrainka in the 1990s. Lesya Ukrainska has many architectural landmarks and has become an important trade artery of the city.

  • 5. Svityaz Lake Volyn Oblast
    Svitiaz is the deepest lake in Ukraine, with a maximum depth of 58.4 m. It is the second largest in the country. Svitiaz belongs to groups of Shatsk's lakes, which are located in Polissya in the utmost north-western corner of Ukraine, close to the borders with Poland and Belarus. The lake is part of Shatsky National Natural Park . In the middle of the lake there is an island of 7 hectares in size. The lake occupies an area of 25.2 km², the average depth is 6.9 m., the transparency of water to 8 m. The length of the lake is 9.3 km. The biggest width is 8 km. Volume of the lake is 180 mill. km³. The lake warms in the summer and its clean water and sandy bottom makes it a very popular tourism site.

    Shatsky National Natural Park is a park in Ukraine which was established in 1983 and aimed to preserve, reconstitute and to use effectively Volyn Polissia natural complexes and objects of special environmental, recreational, educational and aesthetic value. The park is located on the territory of Shatsk Region in northwest part of Volyn Oblast. The general area of the park is 490 square kilometres , 188 km2 of which are handed over for its permanent use. Lesia Ukrainka, Volyn State University is a scientific curator. Two ecological paths, Svitiazianka and Lisova Pisnia, are working in the Shatsk NNP.
