Those who were interviewed, in exclusively beautiful weather, were asked to consider only the positive aspects of the place where they live. Whether young or old, large or small, the aim was to encourage them to find and express positive feelings for Wesel, so that in the end we are able to say that Wesel is the kind of town which people find enjoyable and rewarding to live in, as well as being a worthwhile place to visit for visitors to the region.

A day trip from Wesel (Germany) to Arnhem (Netherlands) April 2017
A day trip with a small group from Wesel (Germany) to Arnhem in the Netherlands on 29 April '17. You see the city centre with the shops, bars and restaurants. We came by of the preparations for the Cup final winner's celebration of Arnhem football club 'Vitesse'. Along the river Nederrijn (Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta) we met some vintage military vehicles. And on the way back to the Station the local Trolly Busses get my attention.

„Leben in Wesel“ ist ein Produkt der Weseler Bürger. Die beste Wirkung erzielt der Film, wenn man ihn am Stück in Vollansicht in HD durchschaut und dafür 58 Minuten einplant.
Leben in Wesel - “Leben in Wesel” – Ihr habt mir gezeigt, wie Ihr lebt und fühlt – und ich habe den Film daraus gemacht. Ich sage Danke mit diesem ganz besonderen Film über unsere Stadt und seine Menschen: anrührend, spannend und vor allem echt.
Die Initiative der Weseler hat sich gelohnt. Weit über 100 eingesendete Filmsequenzen sind zu einem Gesamtwerk geworden. Der 60-minütige Film zeigt ein Bild von Wesel, wie die Weseler das Leben in ihrer Stadt sehen und erleben.
