Westport is a town in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 15,532 at the 2010 census.The village of North Westport lies in the town. Other named areas of the town are Westport Point with the dock on the Westport River where Main Road meets the river, Central Village with town offices, retail stores and businesses, Head of Westport at the head of the east branch of the river and the area referred to either as Acoaxet or Westport Harbor, which is between the west branch of the river and Rhode Island. This area is actually cut off from the rest of Massachusetts by water and Rhode Island.

The Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge is a wildlife preserve operated by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service on the Nisqually River Delta near Puget Sound in northeastern Thurston County, Washington and northwestern Pierce County, Washington. The refuge is located just off Interstate 5, between the cities of Tacoma and Olympia. The 12.6 km2 refuge was created in 1974 to provide habitat and nesting areas for waterfowl and other migratory birds. It includes a protected estuary, salt marshes and open mudflats, freshwater marshes, open grassland, and riparian woodland and brush. Multnomah Falls is a waterfall located in the Columbia River Gorge, east of Troutdale, between Corbett and Dodson, Oregon, United States. The waterfall is accessible from the Historic Columbia River Highway and Interstate 84. Spanning two tiers on basalt cliffs, it is the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon at 620 ft in height.The land surrounding the falls was developed by Simon Benson in the early-twentieth century, with a pathway, viewing bridge, and adjacent lodge being constructed in 1925. The state park's 2,023 acres encompass a diverse landscape of old-growth forest, freshwater lakes, freshwater and saltwater marshes, and oceanside tidelands. Park sights include the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, North Head Lighthouse, and Cape Disappointment Lighthouse. Drive from Tacoma to Port Angeles on Hazy Day

Smoke from the forest fires made this a hazy day for a long drive to Pt. Angeles, WA. Because of the foolishness of a young person, one of the most beautiful places in the United States is on fire and the smoke has covered most of our two states, Washington and Oregon, and has brought grief to us here in the Pacific Northwest.
The brave firefighters have saved the Multnomah Falls historic lodge, but so much has been lost. It's a sad time for residents in both our states.
