Winooski is a city in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. Located on the Winooski River, as of the 2010 U.S. Census the municipal population was 7,267. The city is the most densely populated municipality in northern New England, an area comprising the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. It is the smallest in area of Vermont's nine incorporated cities. As part of the Burlington, Vermont metropolitan area, it is bordered by Burlington, Colchester, and South Burlington.

Shelburne is a town in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. Located along the shores of Lake Champlain, Shelburne is a suburb of Burlington, the largest city in the state of Vermont. Shelburne's town center lies approximately 7 miles south of Burlington's city's center. The population of Shelburne was 7,144 at the 2010 census.The main settlement of Shelburne in the center of town is a census-designated place , with a population of 592 at the 2010 census. The town is the wealthiest municipality in both Chittenden County and the Burlington, Vermont metropolitan area.

Montpelier, VT is the smallest U.S. state capital, but it has quite a lot to offer from a beautiful, historic downtown to a great view of the city from the hills surrounding the area. The Winooski River also runs through the valley just south of the immediate downtown area.

Montpelier is Vermont's State Capital - In this video I look at the State Capitol. almost meet the Governor, and view the Winooski River. As the site of Vermont's state government, it is the least populous state capital in the United States. The population was 7,855 at the 2010 Census. However, the daytime population grows to about 21,000, due to the large number of jobs within city limits. It was named after Montpelier, a city in the south of France.

Vermont Backroads, Bethel Vermont Drive Through & Amtrak Vermonter at Bethel.

Driving back to Ottawa Ontario from Chelmsford Massachusetts,
I always try to catch the morning Amtrak Vermonter Train # 55 somewhere along the way. Bethel Vermont was the place I picked on this trip. HD Video was captured with an iPod Touch 6th Generation and edited with the iMovie app. The covered bridge scenes are at Northfield Falls Vermont.

Vermont Getaway - A Driving Trip Through Vermont

Vermont is a spectacularly scenic state in Northeast United States. Its mountainous geology attracts many skiers in the winter, but Vermont also has much to offer the other three seasons of the year. The relaxed pace of life there makes it very attractive to visitors both young and not so young. Hiking trails are very manageable and recommended to experience the essence Vermont's great outdoors. An easy drive for nearby neighbors, Vermont attracts tourists not only from bordering states but also from Canada. A great destination for anyone who enjoys pleasant road trips!

Three Bedroom Stowe VT Rental Home

Stowe VT Vacation Rental, Short Term Summer and Winter

Charming three bedroom, 2.5 bath farmhouse style house located in Stowe VT for rent. Although this house is newly built, it has the look and feel of a historic Vermont farmhouse, but with modern high-end finishes. There is a large kitchen with lots of storage and a dining area with a classic VT round dining room table. The living room is open and bright with two sitting areas, one with views out to the Worcester Range and the other for warming up next to the gas stove with a book.

Vermont Rental Property, Long Term Possible

Three bedrooms are located upstairs. The master suite has an en-suite bath with a claw foot soaking tub and stand up shower. The two other large bedrooms have queen size beds and share a bath. This rental is ideally located for quiet and relaxation, approx. 1/2 mile out of town and 10 short minutes to Stowe Mt. Resort.

No pets allowed and there is a tenant above the garage in a studio apartment, but it is totally separate from the main house and both have plenty of privacy. This stunning home will make you feel welcome in any season.

MBVT- Causeway Trail - Colchester, Vermont

Check out the Colchester Causeway Trail. It extends from Colchester, Vermont to Grand Isle and you literally ride right through the lake. Surrounded by water on both sides, you can either catch the epic sunset like I did, or take the afternoon walk/run/bike for amazing views. At the end, you can take a bike ferry to get to Grand Isle. This may be one of the nicest bike paths I have ever been on. Enjoy!
