Yaremche is a city in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast of west Ukraine. It is administratively incorporated as a town of oblast significance and is the center of Yaremche Municipality which includes the urban-type settlement of Vorokhta, a ski resort, and five other villages: Mykulychyn, Polianytsia, Tatariv, Voronenko, and Yablunytsia. The city is located at the altitude of around 580 metres above mean sea level. Population: 8,208 . The total population of the whole municipality is 23,127 with 12,478 living in Yaremche and Vorokhta. Yaremche hosts the headquarters of the nearby Carpathian National Nature Park.

Lake Synevyr is the largest lake in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine. It is located in Mizhhiria Raion, Zakarpattia Oblast, not far from the village of Synevyr Poliana. It is part of the National natural preserve Synevyr, which was established in 1989. Scientists estimate that the lake formed about ten thousand years ago. In 2008, the lake was recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Ukraine.

Yaremche is a low-climate health resort which is located at a height of 550 - 585 m above the sea level. It is surrounded by the mountain ranges of Gorgany and Yavirnyk. Yaremche lies in the shallow gully, as though a pearl in a wonderful shell. It is the most famous recreation and health-improving centre of the region.

Exploring the Carpathian Mountains - Ukraine

The Carpathian Mountains are the second largest mountain range in Europe that stretch across 7 countries, one of them being Ukraine! My diverse tour with Cobblestone Freeway allowed me to breathe in the fresh air of the Eastern Carpathian Mountains and enjoy natural beauty, traditional villages, and experience a lifestyle that has remained unchanged for centuries. The journey was a memorable one and here are my favorite highlights!

BUKOVEL İVANO FRANKİVSK UKRAİNE

Bukovel is the largest ski resort in Eastern Europe situated in Ukraine, in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. The resort is located almost on the ridge-lines of the Carpathian Mountains at elevation of 900 m (3,000 ft) above the sea level near the village of Polianytsia (Yaremche municipality) (about a half mile away). It is one of the most popular ski resorts in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains and is situated 30 km (19 mi) southwest of the city of Yaremche. In 2012 the Bukovel was named the fastest-growing world ski resort.

There are five distinct mountains in the area:

Bukovel - 3,698 ft (1127 m)
Chorna Kleva - 4,088 ft (1246 m)
Babyn Pohar - 3,870 ft (1180 m)
Dovha - 4,501 ft (1372 m)
Bulchinokha - 3,770 ft (1150 m)

СЛАВСКОЕ (День 4) Высокий Верх, Вежа Ведмежа, Гончарство ⚱️ Вишиваний Шлях #6

На четвертый день нашего Вишиваного Шляху мы проснулись в отеле Лагуна, позавтракали и отправились на гору Высокий Верх. Изначально мы планировали подняться пешком, но в связи с погодой нам пришлось воспользоваться подъемником. На горе мы пообедали в колыбе Высокий Верх и спустились вниз в село Волосянка. Мы посетили отель Вежа Ведмежа и посмотрели на все его аттракции. А потом мы переместились в коттеджи 4 сезона, где мы поиграли на трембите и немного полепили из глины. Так же мы заглянули в арт-галерею Maxim и полюбовались картинами украинских художников.
