Yongshun County is a county of Hunan Province, China. It is under the administration of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture. Located on the western part of Hunan and the northeastern Xiangxi, the county is bordered to the northeast by Sangzhi County, to the east by Yongding District of Zhangjiajie City, to the southeast by Yuanling County, to the south by Guzhang County, to the southwest by Baojing County, to the west by Longshan County. Laosicheng is an archaeological site in Sicheng Village of Lingxi Town, Yongshun County, Hunan Province, China. It is one of the three Tusi Sites designated by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, On July 3, 2015. The site is the historic capital of Peng clan Tusi for six centuries in modern-day Yongshun, it was built in 1135 and abandoned in 1724 . Furong Ancient Town, is a tourist attraction in mountainous northwest Hunan, about halfway between the popular tourist destinations of FengHuang County [凤凰县] and Zhangjiajie [张家界]. FuRong Town is well known for its scenic location, situated on cliffs above a waterfall that falls into the LiShui River.

FuRong town was originally known as WangCun village, but in 1986, it was renamed following the success of the famous film, Hibiscus Town. The Tujia people were the original inhabitants of WanCun, and today FuRong Town consists of a mix of Tujia, Miao and Han Chinese peoples.

Furong Ancient Town

Furong Town is located in Yongshun County, Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province. It has a history of more than 2,300 years. Furong Town is surrounded by water on three sides, and the waterfall passes through the town. There is no hole in the sky. This is the largest and most spectacular waterfall in western Hunan. It is 60 meters high and 40 meters wide. It is poured down from the cliff in two levels. It is full of sound and can be heard in a radius of ten miles.
