    Green Lake Park, or Cui Hu Park , is an urban park in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. It was established in the 17th century on the west side of the Wuhua Mountain and is sometimes described as a Jade in Kunming. The park consists, in effect, of a group of 4 small sub-lakes linked by bridges in the traditional style. The lake was originally a water reservoir for the city.     Dianchi Lake , also known as Lake Dian and Kunming Lake , is a large lake located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau close to Kunming, Yunnan, in southern China. Its nickname is the Sparkling Pearl Embedded in a Highland and it was the model for the Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace in Beijing. Its name is the source of Yunnan's Chinese abbreviation 滇. It is a freshwater fault lake at 1,886.5 m above sea level. The lake covers 298 km2 . It is 39 km long from north to south, and the average depth is 4.4 m . It is the eighth largest lake in China and the largest in Yunnan Province.

    Bamei is a village located in the northern part of Guangnan County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan province, China. The name Bamei is from the language of Zhuang nationality ,which means “cave in the forest” . It is said that the ancestors of the villagers escaped to this isolated place because of war.   • 8. Kunming Moon Lake Shilin County
    The Stone Forest or Shilin is a notable set of limestone formations about 500 km2 located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China, near Shilin approximately 90 km from the provincial capital Kunming. The tall rocks seem to arise from the ground in a manner somewhat reminiscent of stalagmites, or with many looking like petrified trees, thereby creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. Since 2007, two parts of the site, the Naigu Stone Forest and Suogeyi Village , have been UNESCO World Heritage Sites as part of the South China Karst. The site is classified as a AAAAA-class tourist site.
