Zoldo Alto is a town in the province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy. It's a frazione of Val di Zoldo since 2016. It is noted for its ski resort. A boarding school was established in the 1950s which was used by the children during spring and autumn and senior citizens during the winter months. On 31 January 1991 the municipality was affected by the Ru Duelle Roe landslide, which affected the right flank of the Ru delle Roe stream in the dolomitic slopes of Cime di San Sebastiano and Moiazza. The region is a producer of fresh and mature cheeses.

The Pragser Wildsee, or Lake Prags, Lake Braies is a lake in the Prags Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. It belongs to the municipality of Prags which is located in the Prags valley. During World War II it was the scene of the transport of concentration camp inmates to Tyrol.

11. Ponte degli Alpini Bassano Del Grappa
The Ponte Vecchio or Ponte degli Alpini is the covered wooden pontoon bridge designed by the architect Andrea Palladio in 1569. The bridge is located in Bassano del Grappa and was destroyed many times, the last time in World War II. The bridge spans the river Brenta. The Brenta river was an important means of communication in the 18th century from the mountains of Grappa to Venice.

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo , also called the Drei Zinnen , are three distinctive battlement-like peaks, in the Sexten Dolomites of northeastern Italy. They are probably one of the best-known mountain groups in the Alps. The three peaks, from east to west, are: Cima Piccola / Kleine Zinne Cima Grande / Große Zinne Cima Ovest / Westliche Zinne . The peaks are composed of well-layered dolostones of the Dolomia Principale formation, Carnian to Rhaetian in age, as are many other groups in the Dolomites . Until 1919 the peaks formed part of the border between Italy and Austria. Now they lie on the border between the Italian provinces of South Tyrol and Belluno and still are a part of the linguistic boundary between German-speaking and Italian-speaking majorities. The Snow Service Ski rental is a shop in the heart of Cortina d’Ampezzo, five minutes from the main bus stop in town. Here I rented a pair of boots, skis and a helmet for a day of skiing in the Italian Dolomites.
