U. S. Route 66 also exists in Florida, FL-66! Where is it? America's iconic highway is well known to the world but Florida's Route 66.. not so much! Here's a Florida weekend trip for you! Buckle up! We are about to hit the road and explore this 25 mile stretch through the beautiful countryside of south Florida. We start at Zolfo Springs and end in Downtown Sebring where we will visit an old fashioned soda fountain, Sebring Soda, which has over 200 vintage soda pops! There is much ahead! In episode two of a five-part series, we begin counting down the park's top ten hiking attractions. Although Florida is known for amazing sunrise and sunsets over pristine beaches, witnessing the timeless beauty of a new day dawning or coming to a close from a majestic wilderness area can't be beaten.
Birdwatchers are in for a treat when strolling along the birding boardwalk at the end of Myakka Upper Lake. Roseate Spoonbills, White Ibis, Blue Herons, Bald Eagle, and Black Vultures are just a few of the birds that can be seen throughout the scenic park. We hope you have enjoyed our travel vlog.

This week we are roaming the roads of Central Florida! Come roam the roads with us as we visit two Harvest Host locations, the Far Reach Ranch, a blueberry farm in Tavares and the Bee Barn in Zolfo Springs. Before we hit the road, we prepped our trailer (aka Teddy) and found an issue with our weight distribution system and then ran into problems with our tires on the road!
