A stroll around the battlefield is very rewarding if you have a good imagination and can see with your minds eye.
To get you in the mood there is a ten minute film(which i have incorporated into this video) in the 1066 exhibition hall. You can also get a recorder which tells the story as you walk around. Each information stop has a number which you tap into the recorder and it tells the story from there.
