Ken Grossman Blue Ridge Bookfest Interview
In Beyond the Pale, Grossman chronicles his journey from hobbyist homebrewer to owner of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. From youthful adventures to pioneering craft brewer, Ken Grossman shares the trials and tribulations of building a brewery that produces more than 800,000 barrels of beer a year while maintaining its commitment to using the finest ingredients available. Since Grossman founded Sierra Nevada in 1980, part of a growing beer revolution in America, critics have proclaimed his beer to be among the best brewed anywhere in the world..
Beyond the Pale describes Grossman's unique approach to making and distributing one of America's best-loved brands of beer, while focusing on people, the planet, and the product. Beyond the Pale also explores the Sierra Nevada way, which includes an emphasis on sustainability, nonconformity, following one's passion, and doing things the right way.
Beyond the Pale shows how with hard work, dedication, and focus, one can be successful following his dream.

Stage2:
This classic tale tells of an orphan, Pip, who through a series of strange circumstances first finds a trade as a blacksmith's apprentice and then learns that he has great expectations of a future inheritance from an anonymous benefactor. He soon learns to live the profligate life of a gentleman as he gradually sheds his associations with the gentle souls of his past, Joe (the blacksmith) and Biddy (a level-headed young lady). He throws his money at improving the prospects of his roommate and friend Herbert and his heart at an ice princess whose heart will never respond. But then an escaped convict from his distant past comes calling, and all Pip's hopes dissolve.

Is Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Reversible with Diet?
Kidney failure is epidemic in the United States. The question arises, is chronic kidney disease reversible with diet? If you suffer from any stage of kidney disease then I think you will like the info in this video.
Kidney disease is silent, and can take years before it is discovered. During those years, damage is being done to all organs in your body. Discovering chronic kidney disease early can give you the opportunity to stop further damage, and reverse much of the damage already done.
Your kidneys are worth more than money. Without the function of your kidneys, an optimized life is impossible. Many doctors don't even diagnose Chronic Kidney Disease until it is in the later stages. Sharing this video with someone you care about can keep them from ever needing dialysis.

Smithsonian Food History Weekend 2017: After Hours
On October 28, 2017 the National Museum of American History hosted a conversation with four brewers who bring unique stories of movement and migration – through personal experience or inspiration – to their beer. How have these histories influenced the beers they brew? How do the brewers define the role of beer in American society, past, present, and future? How can their journeys expand our understanding of American history?
This event is part of the Museum’s Brewing History Initiative.
