Capitol Hill tour highlights beauty and history
Denver's Capitol Hill was ranked one of the top 10 most beautiful neighborhoods in the country last month by Forbes.
I was a little surprised, because I think of Capitol Hill as being full of non-descript, box-like high-rises built in the 1960s.

2018 Governor Colorado United States Gubernatorial Election, 2018
Governor: 2017 Announcements Front Runner for Governor 2018 Incumbent Governor John Hickelooper Colorado Loves Innovation Love Peace Marcus Giavanni #ColoradoLoves Published Oct 21, 2017 7:13 Am by Marcus Giavanni | GP7A News | Colorado Loves Amazon | Does | Amazon Loves Colorado | Winters |
ColoradoLovesAmazon.com is forbidden to run for a 3rd term. Did you know that Governor John Hickelooper will not leave broke. GOV Hickenlooper receives half of the new raise ($90,000 a year, half $45,000 one term) to city council members, and retired city council members, auditors, clerk and recorder's, City council At large. And yes, even former Mayors' will received raises in their retirement. So, GOV Hickenlooper will Receive $90,000 for Governo Pay. Wow, how does a Denver city council members make as much, as the Governor of Colorado.
GP7A News: reports that Marcus Giavanni wrote tod Wayne C. I always thought Mayor Webb, as a hero. and still is. My comments about City officials fleecing Denver coffers, came from conversations with Denver voters, in all 11 city council districts, making up the borders within the city and count of Denver, CO. And what happens, is these voters see their questions, comments, and opinions. And based on the Authority level within their communities. I believe, that Denver city officials, don't even have a clue, what nonpartisan law truly means. And how could they. A Democrat has been mayor for 54 years. since 1963.
There are some older voter, who are just sickened, on what Denver is becoming. When you think about the 75,000 voter who voted for the Coronation of Mayor Michael Hancock. and almost 30,00 for anyone but Mayor Hancock. Despite what the media is telling you about their lover boy Michael Hancock who has reached his peak leadership role, as Mayor, to lead Denver from it's current social breakdown, with continued missed opportunities. The numbers just don't pan out for a 3rd term reflection. There are 320,000 voter who did not participate in the last Denver 2015 election. And with No Denver Mayoral Debate it's also caught the eye of federal election personal. As well as State Elections, as to the City and County of Denver Elections. If their was ever a time to call in BDO. The People who know, know, BDO and these citizens???
Like a Retired Attorneys, Retired Professor, Retired Historians all with a different story to tell, to ask, and they want answers. These Voters are Democrats, Republicans, Unaffiliated/Non partisan/Independents, Green Party, Libertarian, and all those in between.
When you think of Google Voice Indexing. Remember, Google Voice Indexing is not prejudice. All conversations will be indexed as to subject matter authority. Period.
GP7A news and Marcus Giavanni: Do you all think we could have learned All about the City and county of Denver. If it was not for the Retired Police, Retired city officials, ex-candidates, ex city employees.

Our coolest bar yet? The Colorado Governor's Mansion - HHG #295
This summer, The Happy Hour Guys had the good fortune to sit down with Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper in Aspen; they drank a beer or two and covered quite a few interesting subjects. During that interview, Governor Hickenlooper mentioned the special additions he and his team had made to the Boettcher Mansion (which is the Governor's residence) in Denver - and he invited us to stop by sometime. As luck would have it, Mark and Jimmy made it to Denver for the 2014 edition of the Great American Beer Festival, and well, they took him up on the opportunity. Click play for a look at possibly THHG's coolest bar yet. Enjoy!

The 10 GAYEST CITIES in AMERICA
What percentage of the American population do you think is gay?
Now when experts ASKED Americans what percentage of Americans are gay, the results were perplexing. The latest poll indicates that we think many many many more of us are gay than actually are gay. Americans estimate that 30% of women are gay and 17% of men are gay.
That’s really high. The actual estimated gay population in America is 4.1%, which is up from 3.5% just 8 years ago.
10. Miami, Florida 4.2% gay
Now, let’s compare Miami to our least gay large metro in America, Birmingham Alabama, which has an estimated 2.6% of adults who identify as LGBT. That’s only a 1.6% difference, which might be a little surprising.
Of course, if you’re going to measure the city with the actual largest gay population, it would be New York City, which has an estimated 272,000 gay residents. But as a percentage of the city’s population, New York City ranks 17th overall.
9. Denver, Colorado 4.6 % gay
In 2016, 63% of youth were comfortable interacting with the gay population. A year later, that number was 53% and now, it’s less than half. The only age group that has a growing acceptance of the gay community are the elderly.
8. Los Angeles, California 4.6% gay
There’s entire websites devoted to the gay lifestyle in LA. Of course, west LA, Hollywood, Brentwood and the surrounding communities are very much gay friendly places. California is one of the main destinations for the gay community in the US.
However, according to polls, a city’s gay-friendly climate isn’t necessarily the main draw for gays. Only 12% of LGBT adults took into consideration how gay friendly a city is when deciding to move there.
7 Salt Lake City, Utah 4.7% gay
Salt Lake City, Utah has two gay city councilors, a lesbian mayor and a pride festival that hosts more than 40,000 participants every year. And Salt Lake also has an LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, too.
6. Boston, Massachusetts 4.8% gay
If you look at a map, Massachusetts has a high gay population, like several other areas in the New England area. Maine, Vermont and New York all have high gay populations, too. Connecticut, however, remains very traditional. Interesting.
5. Seattle, Washington, 5% gay
Seattle Washington is unsurprisingly one of the gayest cities in the nation. Here, the gay population is 5% and also growing. Seattle passed San Francisco for the most households composed of gay or lesbian couples at 2.6% - and is the only U.S. city with more than 1% of households being lesbian couples.
4. New Orleans, Louisiana 5.1% gay
New Orleans is home to Halloween New Orleans, a three-day festival that’s a major draw for the LGBT community. This is home to the Gay Easter Parade and, of course, Mardi Gras, the over-the-top parade that’s a must-see no matter your sexual orientation.
3. Austin, Texas 5.4% gay
So many gay Americans are moving here that there’s a website called Gay in Austin which features things to do, meetups and advice on where to live.
Austin also boasts the Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival as well as a gay and lesbian chamber of commerce
2. Portland, Oregon 5.5% gay
Portland elected its first gay mayor in 2008. An out bisexual Portlander is Oregon’s governor; an out Portland lesbian is the state’s Speaker of the House. Rainbow flags fly everywhere.
1. San Francisco, California 6.2% gay
It’s probably no surprise that San Francisco ranks as the gayest city in America. Here, 6.2% of residents are gay, and about 1.5% of the total population is in same-sex marriages. San Francisco is a non-discrimination haven. Equality and fairness rule the day here.
