NAPLES CITY WALK | A tour around the City of Naples, Italy [HD]
#geekstreettravels #italy #naples
Naples city walk - First person walking tour around the City of Naples. See the authentic streets, sounds and food outlets of Naples. The narrow streets and the hanging washing - classic views of the old Italian regions of the Americas - which the Italians had brought over from their homeland. See the traffic jams and the cars bumper to bumper parked along streets.
Naples is the regional capital of Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan. In 2017, around 967,069 people lived within the city's administrative limits while its province-level municipality has a population of 3,115,320 residents. Its continuously built-up metropolitan area is the second or third largest metropolitan area in Italy and one of the most densely populated cities in Europe.

Fontanelle Cemetery Walking Tour
WALKING IN NAPLES, ITALY: Be sure to turn on the CLOSED CAPTIONS when you watch this tour of The Fontanelle Cemetery, located in a cave in the Sanità district of Naples. The cave was dug out of the Rione Sanità centuries ago and has been used as a burial site since the 1500s. If they could afford it, Neapolitans were buried in their church but churches eventually became overcrowded. During the 1600s, Naples was hit with multipe earthquakes, eruptions, famine and three epidemics including the great plaque of 1656. The population of Naples was reduced to 150,000 from 400,000. The cave became the burial site for the victims of the plague. ????For an even more immersive experience, be sure to put on your headphones and listen in 3D audio.

VENICE, EXPLORING the unique cobble stoned STREETS and winding ALLEYS
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's visit the spectacular and very historic city of Venice but this time, let's go away from the popular and touristy places. Let's get away from the crowds and let's enjoy the true Venice by walking along its narrow alleyways, this way we will feel and experience the real heart of the city!!
For wanderers, explorers, and anyone willing to get thoroughly lost, Venice is an atmospheric maze of cobblestoned paths and winding waterways.
Venice, the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It has no roads, just canals – including the Grand Canal thoroughfare – lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s red roofs.
Italy, a European country with a long Mediterranean coastline, has left a powerful mark on Western culture and cuisine. Its capital, Rome, is home to the Vatican as well as landmark art and ancient ruins. Other major cities include Florence, with Renaissance masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s David and Brunelleschi's Duomo; Venice, the city of canals; and Milan, Italy’s fashion capital.

THINGS TO DO IN SORRENTO, ITALY - BEST PIZZA IN ITALY! | The Tao of David
Please watch: ???????? Is HONG KONG SAFE for TOURISTS? | 2019 HONG KONG PROTESTS | MY EXPERIENCE (with subtitles)
--~--
SORRENTO, ITALY - Are you planning an Italy trip in 2017? Sorrento is my FAVOURITE location in Italy by far, located a train ride from Naples or the Amalfi Coast.
Sorrento is known for being home to Italy's more affluent residents and holiday makers, however with great hotels, restaurants and AMAZING ITALIAN FOOD in Sorrento, there's really no excuse to visit!
Things to Do in Sorrento include -
- Valley of the Mills
- Corsa Italia
- Old Town back streets
- Villa Communale
- Piazza Tasso
- Day Trip to Capri
- Shopping
And more! Including AWESOME ITALIAN FOOD, from simple Gelato on the backstreets to authentic Italian cuisine for various budgets. I ate at Bar Del Carmine, which I would thoroughly recommend, with great pizza from 7 Euro, antipasti and great beers and wine -
Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy your time in Sorrento as much as I did!
Once again, apologies for the picture quality in certain lighting, this is due to a crack on my camera which I was unfortunately unable to resolve before filming this video.
