Dalat Easy Rider Motorcycle Tour, Vietnam Travel Guide
The hill village of Dalat is a temperate tourist escape from the tropical heat of the rest of Vietnam. The most common tourist activity in Dalat is to take an Easy Rider guided motorcycle of the surrounding countryside. I take a tour and visit a silk worm farm, a waterfall, watch traditional weaving, and visit a rural blacksmith who offers me a homemade alcoholic brew made of rice and reptile animal parts! For lunch we visit a local diner where we learn how Pho, beef noodle soup, is prepared.

EASY RIDER - PART TWO - DA LAT TO MUI NE - VIETNAM - VLOG_018
Day two of our Easy rider trip with Tony and Ron. We spend a lot more time on the bike and drive through the countryside of Vietnam. We drink coconut milk by a lake, visit a remote village and give candy and some playing beads to the kids. We ended our journey visiting the Red Sand dunes and the fishing villages.

Vietnam Easy Rider Tour - 6 Days Dalat to Hoi An
In February 2017, my friend and I went on a 6 day tour with Mr Hung and Binh from Dalat Easy Riders. We rode from Dalat to Hoi An.
The 6 day motorbike tour from Dalat to Hoi An with Mr Hung and Binh from Dalat Easy Riders was the highlight of my time in Vietnam. It really showed me the spirit of the country, and made me fall in love with its people, places, and ways.
In many ways, my friend Sarah and I felt that the best moments of this trip were the small things that could not be captured on film. Like the little boy on his bike who blew me a kiss, making us all laugh. Or the little kids towing a puppy around their front yard on a wooden cart. Or the many times when everyone in the restaurant would end up laughing because Mr Hung cracked himself up with his contagious laugh after saying something funny. Or the counting of how many animals crossed the road in front of us. Or the frenzy of giggling teenagers when Mr Hung told them Sarah and I were movie stars. Or the huge smiles from a very lovely man in the K’Tu village who insisted on proudly showing us every item in his very clean house. Or the “WTF” looks from locals riding high up on a jungle mountain pass when they turned the corner to see 2 Australian girls casually walking down the road (no drivers in sight), hours from any town. And the list goes on.
I feel like I got to experience “the real Vietnam”, as Mr Hung calls it. In most places we visited, Mr Hung would tell us “There’s no tourists here… only 2 Australians”. And he was right. He showed us how the country ticks. He stopped at what looked like just a house, and would usher us in to meet the owners, then show us a factory of some sort running in it’s back rooms or yard. It felt like an honour to be there, witnessing this beautiful place, it’s people, it’s customs, and it’s stunning scenery… to be part of this fascinating land.

its a long one but a good one!
We flew from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh, where we stayed 2 nights. From Ho Chi Minh we took a bus to Da Lat where we rode on the back of the DaLat EasyRider Tours motorcycles for 3 days, and ended up in Nha Trang. The Easy Riders taught us a lot about Vietnamese history.

Hi! I'm Mơ, an Easy Rider in Dalat - a small city in the highland of Vietnam. I took many tourists from many countries such as Australia, France, England, Sweeden, Norway, Danmark, Canada, the U.S.A etc... I can do different ways, different itineraries, different direction in Vietnam. I can speak two foreign languages: English anh French. I usually do the non-traffic roads because most of tourists I took wanted to avoid the highway one - the main road from the South to the North of Vietnam and also they wanted to be free and they wanted to discover something about Vietnam. Like minority people, beautiful landscapes, agriculture in a tropical country, the daily life of Vietnamese people etc...
If you want to escape the touristy places, if you want to have your own freedom, if you dislike the tours operater orgnized by traveller's agency, if you want to go deeply in the life of Vietnamese people or to see, to touch, to talk, to listen directly to local people, you can go with me by motor cycle.
Coming with me, you'll have a picture nearly complete about Vietnam, you'll enjoy cheap, clean, special traditional Vietnamese food, you'll understand the customs and habits as well as the other faces of the life in Vietnam
I'm experienced in this job for nearly 10 years. I always follow tourist' requirements as well as tourist' needs. The tours I do are from one day tour to ten days tour or more. We can start from Dalat or from anywhere in Vietnam such as: Dalat - Lăk - Bun Ma Thuột city - Pleiku - Kontum - Phước Sơn - Hội An - or in the contrary directions. Some itineraries we'll take a part of Ho Chi Minh trail
In brief, following your time, your requirement, your direction, your purpose etc..., I can organize a motor cycle trip for you

Dalat Easy Riders Club - Vietnam
I just finished an incredible vacation with Dalat Easy Riders Club in Vietnam. Simply put, it was the best travel tour I've ever booked, and I never book travel tours. On Trip Advisor, the Dalat Easy Rider Club has a 5 star rating and if I could, I would give them 10. They're professional, honest, and protected by law. Plus, they insure each rider. I hope this video is helpful for people who are hesitant about Easy Rider tours in Vietnam. There are many different organizations, but this one is the best of the best.
You can book your Easy Rider vacation at this website:

Our First Ride, Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat - Travel Vietnam 2018
So now we had our bikes ready, our backpacks sorted and we were about as prepped as we were going to be, it was time to jump on begin our ride around Vietnam.
Our first destination, Da Lat. We had found a route that took a number of back routes and was said to be 360km in length, so we figured it would be about 7 hours of riding and a few stops along the way for fuel, food, rest, etc...how wrong we were!
A number of the back roads had suffered some major damage from what we are guessing was recent flooding, km's of road now turned to mud and bitumen had become the stuff to avoid, as it was now broken jagged tyre puncturing debris. The areas where the road appeared to still be intact offered no increase in speed or mental relaxation, as they were littered with
For more photos and info on the ride, head on over to our blog dedicated to our travel days,
We'd love it if you liked and shared this video, so others who haven't yet heard of us, also get a chance to share in the experience. Thanks :)

We are Leon and Tash, a New Zealand vlogging couple who set off on an amazing Vietnam adventure as fulltime travellers, backpacking Vietnam. But we weren't going to travel to Vietnam for one of those ordinary backpacking Vietnam trips you hear about everybody doing, where they go for a couple off weeks and check out the beaches or maybe riding through Vietnam at such a crazy pace that they never get off the beaten track. No we want more than that.
Our Vietnam adventures start with learning the way of the locals, taking just enough time to figure out how things work, discover what the Must see places in Vietnam are and more importantly where Vietnam's hidden gems are...
To do this, we moved to Danang Vietnam. The plan was to spend 3 months living in Da Nang, meeting and learning from locals about the culture, the amazing food, their way of living and what places they would recommend to travel in Vietnam.
And because Danang is in the middle of the country, we hoped we might meet other tourists or expats who were having their own Vietnam travel adventure or were at the halfway point of motorcycle riding through Vietnam and hear from them, what places they thought we must visit in Vietnam. Also, as new travel vloggers, having a base there meant we could try things like doing Da Nang Vietnam travel vlog or creating a Danang Vietnam travel guide, before also taking on the stresses of fulltime travel.
Then in month 4, that's when the real Vietnam adventure begins. With our new list of must see places, we will head to Saigon and buy a couple of motorbikes. to start our Vietnam road trip!
Motorcycle riding through Vietnam seems like one of the most hectic, crazy and chaotic things anyone could do, but we can't wait!! And we wont be following a simple South to North / Saigon to Hanoi route, we plan on doing more like a figure 8, so that our travel in Vietnam will cover both the inland and coastal areas of this amazing country.
So can we still say we are backpacking Vietnam? Or should we be telling people our travel in Vietnam is a motorcycle trip through Vietnam? We're not sure, but what we do know is, our Vietnam road trip is going to cover over 6000km's from Saigon right up to the famous waterfalls of Ban Gioc near Cao Bang, round the northern point of the Ha Giang loop and everything else we can access in between.
So we hope you'll join us, the New Zealand vlogging couple, on our Vietnam adventure by clicking subscribe to join the Tribe and experience our travel in Vietnam..
