This is a short video highlighting Wynkoop Brewery in downtown Denver, Colorado.
#DrinkPink
October 1, 2017 marks the launch of Denver Beer Co.’s #DrinkPink campaign whereby 10% of sales of Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch beer and swag will go directly to breast cancer research in Colorado. From October 1st - 31st, Denver Beer Co. and its distributor, Breakthru Beverage will each donate 5% of every sale of Princess Yum Yum cans, pints, kegs and swag to the fight against breast cancer.
Denver Beer Co. partnered with the Colorado chapter of the American Cancer Society for the #DrinkPink campaign and has earmarked all funds raised by the brewery to go to researchers based in Colorado via the 501(c)3’s local chapter. In addition to the #DrinkPink campaign, Denver Beer Co. and Breakthru Beverage will host the Pink Beer Garden at the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, presented by University of Colorado Health, on October 22, 2017 near Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village. Denver Beer Co. will pour Princess Yum Yum to all participants in the walk who are raising money for and “making strides” in the fight against breast cancer.
“We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer,” stated Denver Beer Co. co-founder Charlie Berger. “Now that Princess Yum Yum is available year round, we can put our love for the pink beer towards a good cause during the month of October. The more folks “drink pink,” the more we’ll be able to donate to breast cancer research. We’re challenging the whole state to #DrinkPink in October, let’s see how far we can take it.”
Denver Beer Co. co-founder Patrick Crawford added “the #DrinkPink campaign is an effort to implement another conscious business practice at Denver Beer Co. As a business we can address and support societal issues and hopefully move the dial just a little bit for the greater good. We are proud to add this campaign to our Non-profit of the Year program, which for 2017 benefits Denver Mountain Parks Foundation, and our Olde Town Arvada Water Tower Wit program, sales of which benefit the Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation per Arvada Mayor Williams’ selection.”
Denver Beer Co.’s #DrinkPink campaign will kick-off on October 1 with a launch party at the Denver Beer Co. Olde Town Arvada location. The brewery will have a big screen TV available to view the Denver Bronco’s game, a pink photo booth, t-shirts, and Princess Yum Yum on tap and available in crowlers and 6-packs to-go. Beginning on October 1st and lasting through October 31, 10% of all Princess Yum Yum sales throughout the state of Colorado will go to breast cancer research in Colorado. Top 10 Reasons NOT to Move to Denver, Colorado
The Top 10 reasons You Should NOT move to Denver, Colorado and the worst things you NEED to know about moving to Colorado Springs or Boulder instead.
Worst places to live in Nashville -
What's it like living in Denver? Well first off, the elevation is higher than most cities at 5,280 feet above sea level and it's located right next to the beautiful front range of the Rocky Mountains. The weather here is crazy and gets very cold with lots of snow but also very hot and dry in the Summer. It's actually the largest city in Colorado, and along with Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder and other secluded mountain towns, one of the best cities to live in America. A lot of people are moving from California and Texas to the Mile High City, making it one of the fastest growing and most expensive cities in the United States. If the Centennial State has the #1 economy, why shouldn't you live in Denver, CO?

DENVER: THE BEER CITY (directors cut)
A video presented by Visit Denver, meant to highlight the local brewing scene's passion for beer. Hoping you will realize why this is one of the best places in the United States to come get a one of a kind micro brew straight from the hands that made it.
Denver is a town that welcomes trailblazers, pioneers, and entrepreneurs. So if you are a rule breaker, you're not happy with the status quo, and you put your philosophy where your beer is, this is a great town. - Marty Jones

Driving Downtown - Denver 4K - Colorado USA
Driving Downtown - Denver Colorado USA - Episode 53.
Starting Point: Colfax Avenue .
Denver is one of the fastest-growing major cities in the United States and is the capital and most populous municipality of the U.S. state of Colorado. Denver is just east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Denver is nicknamed the Mile High City because its official elevation is exactly one mile (5280 feet or 1609.3 meters) above sea level, making it the highest major city in the United States.
With an estimated population of 693,060 in 2016, Denver is the 19th-most populous U.S. city, with a 15.48% increase since the 2010 United States Census. In 2016, Denver was named the best place to live in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.
Economy
The Denver MSA has a gross metropolitan product of $157.6 billion in 2010, making it the 18th largest metro economy in the United States. Denver's economy is based partially on its geographic position and its connection to some of the country's major transportation systems. Because Denver is the largest city within 500 miles (800 km), it has become a natural location for storage and distribution of goods and services to the Mountain States, Southwest states, as well as all western states. Another benefit for distribution is that Denver is nearly equidistant from large cities of the Midwest, such as Chicago and St. Louis and some large cities of the West Coast, such as Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Denver's position near the mineral-rich Rocky Mountains encouraged mining and energy companies to spring up in the area. In the early days of the city, gold and silver booms and busts played a large role in the city's economic success. In the 1970s and early 1980s, the energy crisis in America and resulting high oil prices created an energy boom in Denver captured in the soap opera Dynasty. Denver was built up considerably during this time with the construction of many new downtown skyscrapers. When the price of oil dropped from $34 a barrel in 1981 to $9 a barrel in 1986, the Denver economy also dropped, leaving almost 15,000 oil industry workers in the area unemployed (including former mayor and current governor John Hickenlooper, a former geologist), and the nation's highest office vacancy rate (30%). The industry has recovered and the region has 700 employed petroleum engineers.[86] Advances in hydraulic fracturing have made the DJ Basin of Colorado into an accessible and lucrative oil play. Energy and mining are still important in Denver's economy today, with companies such as EnCana, Halliburton, Smith International, Rio Tinto Group, Newmont Mining, Noble Energy, and Anadarko headquartered or having significant operations.
Sports
Denver is home to a variety of sports teams and is one of the U.S. cities with teams from four major sports (the Denver metro area is the smallest metropolitan area to have a team in all four major sports). The Denver Broncos of the National Football League have drawn crowds of over 70,000 since their origins in the early 1960s, and continue to draw fans today to their current home Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Broncos have sold out every home game (except for strike-replacement games) since 1970. The Broncos have advanced to eight Super Bowls and won back-to-back titles in 1997 and 1998, and won again in 2015.
Culture
Because of its proximity to the mountains and generally sunny weather, Denver has gained a reputation as being a very active, outdoor-oriented city. Many Denver residents spend the weekends in the mountains; skiing in the winter and hiking, climbing, kayaking, and camping in the summer.
Denver and surrounding cities are home to a large number of local and national breweries. Many of the region's restaurants have on-site breweries, and some larger brewers offer tours, including Coors and New Belgium Brewing Company. The city also welcomes visitors from around the world when it hosts the annual Great American Beer Festival each fall.

Masters of the Brewniverse
The inaugural Master of the Brewniverse! We know you love craft beer, but how well do you know the people who make and market said beer? We figured, what better way to showcase the people behind the beer than a brewery pageant? Yes, we said pageant.
In typical beer fest fashion, guests received unlimited tastings from 16 Colorado breweries, with the added bonus of watching reps and brewers from each brewery compete on stage to win the title of Master of the Brewniverse! Breweries competed before a panel of judges in rounds of beer pageantry including fashion, talent, and interview. As weird as it may sound, it was nothing short of awkwardly awesome.
$25 tickets includes beer and general admission to watch the competition. 100% of profits will go to Mile High United Way, because pageants are all about World Peace right?
The renowned panel of judges:
Steve Kurowski, Colorado Brewers Guild
Marty Jones, legendary beer man
Emily Hutto, Eater Denver and author of Colorado's Top Brewers
Eric Gorski, Denver Post
Chad Hatlestad, Brewers Supply Group
