Truckee Rafting - Tahoe California
In this episode of Cheap Family Travel ( Nick, Regan,Maggie and Kate spend a relaxing day rafting the Truckee River in Tahoe California. The Truckee River flows out of Lake Tahoe at a nice leisurely pace and is the perfect family adventure on a hot day. several rafting companies rent rafts and equipment in Tahoe City but you can also float the river on your own. The scenery is beautiful and the river is clear and refreshing. It's perfect for swimming and a picnic. You can bring your own coolers or the family dog. We saw ducks, geese, fish and a black bear swam right in front of us. It was incredible. The five mile trip ends at the River Ranch Resort where you can catch a bus or taxi back to Tahoe City. Rafting the Truckee is a must for every family who visits Lake Tahoe.

Lake Tahoe Boat Tour
On board the Tahoe Gal, lunch cruise to Emerald Bay on the beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Helicopter Ride above Lake Tahoe
Amazing helicopter tour of Emerald Bay, with Reno Tahoe Helicopters, thank you Claudio!
Narrated sightseeing drive, 52 blocks of San Francisco
You are visiting from out of town, we hop in the car, wander around and see some sights (some touristy, some not). We'll follow Mississippi Street to 7th Street to Leavenworth Street, passing through the neighborhoods of Potrero Hill, Mission Bay, SoMa, Civic Center, Tenderloin, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, and Fisherman's Wharf. About 52 blocks in all, give or take, depending upon what you consider a block. Occasionally we'll teleport out of the car and take some side trips.
This started out as a regular drivelapse but somehow along the way morphed into a full driving tour, kind of a drivelapse-travelogue hybrid. Two cameras on board, plus GPS, and a chatty driver.
I'd be interested in any feedback on the closed captions, if you used them. It is maddeningly difficult to do anything remotely sophisticated with closed captions on YouTube because their closed caption implementation has tons of bugs and doesn't interpret most industry-standard captions correctly.

Winter driving at Highway 140 Yosemite National Park
One of California's most formidable natural landscapes, Yosemite National Park features nearly 1,200 square miles of sheer awe: towering waterfalls, millennia-old Sequoia trees, striking, daunting cliff faces and some of the most unique rock formations in the United States. But despite its enormous size, most of the tourist activity takes place within the 8-square-mile area of Yosemite Valley. Here you'll find the park's most famous landmarks – Half Dome and El Capitan – as well as excellent hiking trails through the natural monuments. Even inexperienced hikers can enjoy Yosemite: Guided tours and climbing lessons are available from local adventure outfitters. Just don't expect to experience it by yourself. Like so many other American tourist destinations, crowds are the biggest obstacles to an enjoyable Yosemite vacation – approximately 4 million people visit each year. But if you go at the right time (and start your day a little earlier than usual), Mother Nature's wonders will reveal themselves to you in a miraculous and serene way. Yosemite National Park Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
Yosemite – an American story unlike any other. Follow us through the national park from its high country to its waterfalls, its towering sequoia groves to its valley meadows.
When ready, browse vacation packages to Yosemite National Park:
#YosemiteNationalPark sits on the western slopes of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. Most visitors spend their #vacation in Yosemite Valley, which despite being only 7 miles long and 1 mile wide, packs in more jaw-dropping scenery than just about any other place on Earth.
#Visit Tunnel View and stand before a panorama that’s reduced generations of visitors to silence. The Yosemite Valley ring road follows the banks of the Merced River, which shifts in character as it thunders from the valley walls, before gently winding across the valley floor. The ring road is dotted with trailheads that lead to 800 miles of hiking trails.
Drive along Tioga Road, one of the USA’s most scenic highways. Fill your lungs with alpine air at Olmsted Point, refresh yourself by the waters of Tenaya Lake, then spend the day at Tuolumne Meadow, the traditional summer hunting grounds of the Ahwaneechee.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

BEST OF MOAB, UTAH (REALLY) ARCHES NATIONAL PARK | EP 87
When is the best time ⏰ to visit Moab & Arches National Park? When the weather is “crisp” and there are no crowds. We had no idea what to expect when visiting Moab, Utah. We’ve really only heard about it for Mountain Biking and off road driving. We were blown away with the hiking, open blue skies, red rock and breath-taking views.
We teamed up with KYD Subscriber Micah who is a professional hiking guide with High and Mighty Hikes. He guided us through the Fiery Furnace, Landscape Arch, the North & Window Arch, Landmark Arch, Mesa Arch, Canyonlands and Dead Horse State Park. It’s almost comical to write this as it would not have been possible without being with an expert.

AJU Tour Bus ~ Korean Travel & Tourist Agency ~ Spotted in Kingman AZ
Bus spotted in Kingman Arizona, 1.8.2012, convenient store and gas station.
Aju Travel and Tour Inc. This Korean based tourist travel agency and tour company is out of Koreatown Los Angeles (LA) CA and I found their internet web url address as which is mostly in the Korean language. They provide tour bus sightseeing guide style service to places such as the western and southwestern (US) USA, United States of America. Trips to historic Callico California, Grand Canyon, Bryc.e Canyon, Zion Canyon, Yosemite, Ski and snowboard, skiing at Squaw Valley Lake Tahoe CA, Pebble Beach Calif, Las Vegas NV, San Francisco CA. I have also heard of them having service in Hawaii, around Honolulu, Waikiki Beach area, etc. I read over reviews and some are good and some bad. Personally I don't like taking buses and would rather take an airline co jet plane somewhere and then by rental car, never-the-less I do have a fascination with bus and other transportation related vehicles. How To Road Trip California, Be Cheap, And Still Have A Good Time
After finishing my California Road Trip video this summer, I realized I still had a lot of extra footage that I hadn’t used. So I decided to put it to good use in a new video. This video is the result: How to Road Trip California. It’s more of a narrative and slower in style than its predecessor, but I’m hoping you still like it. Here’s a link to the first video if you haven’t seen it:

Many people ask, “How much will it cost to road trip California? “What are the best places in California to visit?” and “Where is the best food?. The answers to those questions depend on a lot of different factors. California has so much to offer. To truly experience the whole state could take over a month. And you still wouldn’t see everything. Time, money, and personal preference should all be considered. My main question wasn’t as much “How to Road Trip California” as it was “How can I explore California in one week, with two friends, a camera, and a modest budget?”
I think I answered it.

In this segment we travel Highway 50 downwards sharply back toward the Lake. As we move towards the Lake, the blue water becomes more predominant in the overall vista. After a while, we reach Cave Rock. There are a pair of tunnels through the rock that allow 2 lanes heading east and 2 heading west. The shorter tunnel with the rough rock interior of approximately 150 feet was built in 1931 as part of the Lincoln Highway project. The second bore was built in 1957 and is 400 feet long. The newer tunnel is lined with concrete as opposed to leaving raw rock as in the first tunnel. The 400 foot tunnel was necessitated by the expansion of highway 50 to 2 lanes east and 2 lanes west.
This video segment passes by the Zephyr Cove Lodge with the pier behind where the paddle wheeler M S Dixie is kept. Excursions from here on the Dixie often go across to Emerald bay and around Fannette Island, the only island in the Lake.
Miami-Los Angeles flight: Downtown+Miami Beach, Mississippi River Delta, 29 Palms, Big Bear 2016-3-3
Miami's Marlins Park, Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach's condos and the intracoastal waterways rush into view on takeoff toward the Atlantic Ocean.
On completion of the Gulf of Mexico crossing, the Mississippi's birdfoot mouth and the Cajun shoreline of Louisiana unfold.
This is followed by Sabine Lake and the vast refinery urban complex of Port Arthur and Beaumont, and, farther inland, the Texas A&M University city of College Station, located in the midst of Texas's I-10/I-35/I-45 triangle--before the arrival of the oil rigs and the sand hills of central-west Texas.
The arid mountains of Arizona follow, while alpine Big Bear Lake and the peaks of Southern California's Transverse Range to the northeast of Los Angeles, as well as the congested rush-hour freeways at dusk, accompany the descent and final approach to LAX.

Coastal Louisiana's land loss directly contributed to the storms' human toll. In the past, extensive healthy wetlands buffered South Louisiana from storm surge, but with thinning wetlands, oyster reefs and barrier islands, the area's communities have lost much of their natural protection. - More at:

Sometimes, big things really do come in small packages. And big scenery often comes on little roads. State Route 266 is one of the shortest state highways in Arizona — with just under 20 miles of pavement cutting across the rugged rangeland south of Safford — but every mile dishes up dramatic vistas as the road rambles westward along the fringe of the Pinaleño Mountains ....
