Rekero Breakaway Lion Pride At The Mara River | Lions Of The Maasai Mara
The rapidly flowing Mara river provided a stunning backdrop to this sighting of the Chinese Hill/Rekero Breakaway/Serena Pumphouse pride of lions. This lion pride is controlled by the four male coalition known as the Four Musketeers but sadly they were the other side of the river at this point in time.

Amboseli Tours and Safaris with Natural World Kenya
The giants here are the great herds of elephants. Hundreds of them.
Protected from poachers, they carry their massive tusks with pride as they gather at predictable watering holes, delighting the many who come to Amboseli National Park to view these noble creatures.
Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed!
It’s just one of many reasons the park is the second most popular in Kenya – only the Masai Mara draws more visitors.
Amboseli is also a photographer’s paradise. Those wonderful photos you’ve seen of elephants seemingly posing in front of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro? They were taken here.
Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world, towers over the park like a stately and photogenic sentinel. And when the clouds burn off at dusk or dawn, you’ll be treated to visions of its snowy peak.

Elephant Sightings At Talek River, Maasai Mara, Kenya
An afternoon drive along the Talek river provided so wonderful elephant sightings. First a massive bull elephant on the grassy bank. Second a small elephant family group crossing the river. Finally a decent size elephant herd heading up to the plains.

A national park is a park in use for conservation purposes. Often it is a reserve of natural, semi-natural, or developed land that a sovereign state declares or owns. Although individual nations designate their own national parks differently, there is a common idea: the conservation of wild nature for posterity and as a symbol of national pride.
An international organization, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and its World Commission on
Protected Areas, has defined National Park as its Category II type of protected areas.
While this type of national park had been proposed previously, the United States established the first public park or pleasuring-ground for the benefit and enjoyment of the people, Yellowstone National Park, in 1872. Although Yellowstone was not officially termed a national park in its establishing law, it was always termed such in practice and is widely held to be the first and oldest national park in the world. Some would say that the first official
national park to be designated as such at its creation was Mackinac Island, legislated in 1875. Australia's Royal
National Park, established in 1879, was the world's third official national park. In 1895 ownership of Mackinac Island was transferred to the State of Michigan as a state park and national park status was consequently lost. As a result Australia's Royal National Park is by some considerations the second oldest national park now in existence.
The largest national park in the world meeting the IUCN definition is the Northeast Greenland National Park, which was established in 1974. According to the IUCN, 6,555 national parks worldwide met its criteria in 2006. IUCN is still discussing the parameters of defining a national park.
National parks are almost always open to visitors. Most national parks provide outdoor recreation and camping opportunities as well as classes designed to educate the public on the importance of conservation and the natural wonders of the land in which the national park is located.

This video is about my amazing trip to Kenya in July 2013, where I was volunteering as a football coach to teach the street kids.
I went to this town called Nakuru with Projects Abroad and everybody welcomed me warm-heartedly. Chris and Barry were the two other guys doing the same project, and we really enjoyed teaching all the kids. Those kids all live in the slums and don't have much money, but they had so much energy and joy to play football and learn from us. So every morning we would go to the field next to the slums, and all the kids would be waiting for us to start kicking the ball around. In Kenya the primary schools are free, but the schools were in strike that's why they were just there not going to school. They don't speak English perfectly (because their national language is Kiswahili) but we learned some few key words that we would use to keep their attention focused.
Some older kids who weren't playing football were just wandering there, sniffing glue. They basically sniff industrial glue, obtaining them for a cheap price, to survive to the harsh conditions they live in. But that substance is highly addictive and can easily lead to sudden death. That's why we would try to make them stop, come out of the dark side of life, and come and enjoy football with us.
It was just an awesome experience teaching the kids, I always wanted to do this. Sometimes I would demonstrate some football freestyle and they were so amazed by even a small trick. I said I could do those because I was Shinji Kagawa's brother (or sometimes cousin). I just needed to keep the straight face so that they believe me.
In the afternoon we trained with people from a local club called Comply F.C, a team from the Kenyan second division league. They were all were nice people and we made good friends with them. It was also good physical exercise and I loved the high altitude trainings.
During all week-ends we went travelling to other cities or places in Kenya for sightseeing. We went to Thompson falls on the first week-end with Chris, Barend, Abby and their host moms. Such a nice waterfall with its surrounding forest/jungle.
Then we went to lake Baringo and lake Bogoria on the second week-end. Awesome boat trip and flamingo lake but the worst thing happened there. I lost one of my cameras (or got it stolen), in which I had an awesome footage of us feeding a crocodile and an eagle snatching a fish from the water. Well I guess that taught me a lesson, to take more care of my valuable belongings (especially in countries which those stuff are worth a lot of money).
On the third week end we went to Mombasa, Kenya's 2nd biggest city, with another 3 people. We spent some time on the beach to have a rest from football and went snorkeling. Thank god I had a GoPro to film some awesome videos.
And finally, on my last week-end in my amazing month in Kenya, we went on a Safari ride in the Maasai Mara national reserve. We got to see zebras, wilderbeests, giraffes, gazelles, antilopes, jerbils, buffalos, cheetas, lions, elephants, african vouchers and just so many others i can't even remember! I could stay hours and hours admiring the view we had. I regret not having a goo DSLR camera to take some nice pictures. Next time I go on a safari i'll make sure I have one. There were so many Chinese tourists there with some crazy camera lenses. So big and heavy they have to hold it like a bazooka. They can probably zoom on the animals all the way from China (so why do they even come to Kenya? haha just kidding). Safaris are definitely worth doing.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Thanks to all the wonderful people I met there as well. I would really be up for going back there again. Next time be prepared for a better video than this one (that's going to be very hard).
Next stop: VIETNAM :)

► Serengeti - The Adventure (Full Documentary, HD)
The Serengeti, East Africa's eternal paradise, with its endless expanses and wild animals, makes one feel as though evokes a sense of having arrived in an apparently peaceful corner of the world.
Nature filmmaker Reinhard Radke spent more than two years in the land of the Massai and captured breathtaking images. The documentary accompanies the animal filmmaker at work on his new cinema film Serengeti in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and illustrates the conditions and the difficulties that can arise when making animal films of this scope and the possibilities provided by state-of-the-art film technology.
Particularly the unique, super slow motion footage
enables zoologists to partake in new fields of research. On the other hand, modern technology is also susceptible to faults and can therefore also hinder the work of an animal filmmaker.

The Black Leopard Safari
Easily one of our most exciting safaris! We spent a wonderful week driving though beautiful forests searching for a wild Black Leopard, and came up good! The Black Leopard Safari 2019
Once again the Black Leopard Safari delivers! We had another amazing week on this incredible safari seeing many leopards, tigers, wild dogs and of course, the famous black leopard!
If you want to join us on this safari, click the link for more info:
fivezerosafaris.com
This is easily one of our most exciting safaris - the chance to see a wild black leopard doesn’t come around every day, so when the opportunity is there, we make the most of it!
Heading back to the beautiful forests of South India, we were ready to start searching every possible shadow in hopes of spotting the now famous black leopard, and it turned out luck was on our side. On our very first afternoon, not only did we see a female tiger with her 3 month old cubs and 2 Indian wild dogs, but we found the black leopard walking casually down the road! The amazing part, is that things only got better from there.
We had so many good sightings it was hard to keep track.
Leading the numbers, we managed to see 14 spotted leopards during the week. We had great sightings of males, females and cubs, but the highlight for me was a female leopard who had chased a monitor lizard high into a dead tree, and spent the better part of an hour trying to get it out. She nearly fell several times, but her balance held and she eventually gave up and came down the tree.
This safari is not only about leopards however, and we saw 11 tigers as well. The tigers were all quite active and we had many good opportunities to photograph them as they went about their business.
In between all the elephant and gaur sightings, we also had 5 sightings of Indian wild dogs, or Dhole. These fantastic predators are always entertaining, and spend a lot of their time playing and socialising, making for some interesting viewing.
We also stumbled across a sloth bear who came down for an afternoon drink, but being quite shy animals, he didn’t hang around.
All of the sightings were special, but the main reason we came on this safari was to try see the black leopard, and most of our time was dedicated to this goal. All our efforts paid off and we were lucky enough to find him a second time. It was truly unforgettable! Driving along, we spotted him standing on a fallen down tree, right out in the open. Never knowing how long he will stick around, the cameras went crazy snapping every shot we could, but he was very relaxed, and we got to spend over 2 hours with him. Phenomenal stuff!
This is a truly wonderful safari that has once again delivered far beyond what I had hoped for. From all the many birds, cats, dogs, elephants and everything else, to the relaxed camp setting, this is a must do safari!

East Africa: A Magical Journey - Trailer 2015
This is a trailer I made to share with our group of 24 that I escorted to East Africa the last 2 weeks of September 2015. It was a glorious adventure as we saw so, so many beautiful animals up close!
Every day took us to see different animals, that just kept on getting more amazing than the next day....from elephants outside our rooms in Amboseli National Park, to a killing by a lion in Ngorongoro Caldera, to a leopard and multiple prides of elephants in the Serengeti to the most amazing place of all, the Masai Mara in Kenya, where we not only were within a few feet of towers of giraffes, a parade of elephants, a zeal of zebras, and herds of cape buffalos, to name a few.
Also, seeing two 7,000 pound Rhinos less than 20 feet from our group.
Yes we saw all of the Big Five! And to top it off, we experienced the Wildebeest Migration crossing the Mara River and watching crocodiles as they tried to kill and drown the wildebeest as they crossed the river...just amazing.
