COULDN'T SLEEP | Africa Vlog 6
We are woken up at 1:30 AM by the sounds of impalas, wildebeests and hyenas. They were so close to the tent we thought they were coming to attack! Oh, life in the Serengetti!
We head back to Arusha today after 4 amazing days on safari through Tanzania. Big thank you to Kisimbo from Duma Explorer for making our adventure so amazing!

Tanzania highlights 1.m4v
Tanzania safari January 13 - 21st, 2010. Started in Arusha, drove to Lake Manyara, then Ngorongoro crater, and finally spent 3 days in the Serengeti. Saw an unbelievable number of animals; watched lions walking by us (fortunately), water buffalo attacking lions, and an elephant charging us when it was separated from the herd. The birds were amazing too so enjoy the bird sounds throughout the movie, mainly the Superb Starling and Lilac-breasted Roller. Jacquie, Heidi and Patricia were great fun and made the whole adventure a special treat. Many thanks to Stacy from Duma Explorer for organizing a terrific safari and Ebenezer for being such a wonderful guide and driver.

Tanzania Vlog ~ Karibu #1
I thought, for my expedition to Tanzania, I would try out vlogging - something new. I enjoyed it and decided to split it up into multiple videos, which I hope you will enjoy.
Through Outlook Expeditions, 16 students, 2 teachers and 1 leader travelled to Tanzania, East Africa. There they climbed a very steep (2,700m) mountain, saw wildlife in the Tarangire, helped build and paint at the Mtumbi Secondary School and engulfed the culture and greatness of Tanzania.
Thank you to all who helped: Safari Inn, Meru House Inn, Millenium Sea Breeze Resort, Papa Moze, Duma Explorer and all that helped us along the way.
A big thank you to Outlook Expeditions for making this possible!

Botswana Mobile Camping Safari
Home to the lush, watery paradise of the Okavango Delta, the vast floodplains and rolling grasslands of the Selinda Spillway and the dry aridness of the Kalahari Desert, Botswana is a country of striking contrast, extreme diversity, and startling beauty. Best known as the stage upon which lion compete with hyena for territory and food, Savuti is a safari aficionado’s paradise, while the open grasslands dotted with the skeletons of drowned trees and nutritious grasses of Chobe attract massive herds of game on their annual migration north. From the marshy swamplands of Linyanti to the dusty saltpans and sand dunes of the Kalahari Desert, Botswana is one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes and greatest safari destinations on earth.
