Arusha is a typical small, dusty Sub-Saharan African town and that is part of its charm. Set at the foot of Mount Meru, it has bustling markets next to old, rather delapidated colonial buildings interspersed with more modern shops, all set on pot-holed roads filled with hooting taxis (daladala) and crazy drivers. It's hard not to feel the beat of Africa here.
First settled in the 1830's by the Maasai people, the town was conquered by the Germans in the early 1900's, who built the fort (Boma) which still stands. The British took the town during WW1 and it remained in their hands until independence was granted to the then Tanganyika in 1961. In July 2006, Arusha was declared a city by Tanzania. This chequered past adds to the mixture of architecture and culture still found here.
in the middle of Arusha, is the Clock Tower circle. Built in the 1950's, urban legend has it that this is the central meeting point for tourists and locals.
Getting Around
Speak to the Tanzania Tourist Board in Boma Road, or your hosts, to get a feel of where to go for safaris and where to avoid.

Delicious food with an outdoor bar and seating in a beautiful garden, this place offers regular happy hour , live music and a great place to hang out – eating, drinking, and being merry.
Drinking & Dancing, Arusha-Style
Pubs, clubs, live music and dancing: the nightlife in Arusha offers something to suit everybody. (though I must be honest their music was quit off the djs weren't bringing their game online and I expected alot of bongo music but nah they didn't play aki Diamond Platnumz song ????????????????

Kikuletwa Hot Springs, Tanzania
Great day trip with @MaishaAdventures to Kikuletwa Hot Springs. I had been feeling sick for a few days and damned if these healing waters didn't cure my illness.
Another cool thing is that you drive for 30 minutes down this dusty road--very little greenery--and then all of a sudden, you're in the oasis of blue water and green trees.
The back flop at the end is me and it hurt like the dickens.

Motorcycles in Tanzania: Turiani to Morogoro part 1 Through the Sugarcane Valley
Second full day of our 3 night trip from Dar to Bagamoyo, Turiani and Morogoro. We leave early enough in search of Google Earth tracks I'd programmed into the GPS, but get distracted by a beautiful track through smallscale sugar fields in a river valley at the base of the mountain. Brilliant riding.

We're picking up the pace after leaving Mto wa Mbu, travelling to Arusha and then on to Moshi to explore Mt. Kilimanjaro!
A busy few days with lots of travel time and hot dusty roads but the rewards- the treasures of Mt. Kilimanjaro, were definitely worth it!
Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro ;) , Waterfalls, Caves, Hot springs and Coffee we crammed so much into just a couple of days and definitely pushed the limit of how much you can do with 3 kids in tow.
Hope you enjoy, Thanks for watching!

Amboseli National Park Safari with Natural World Kenya
Discover The Giants of Amboseli
5 Amboseli safari tours,Jeep / flight options
The giants here are the great herds of elephants. Hundreds of them.
Protected from poachers, they carry their massive tusks with pride as they gather at predictable watering holes, delighting the many who come to Amboseli National Park to view these noble creatures.
Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The population is so robust here that sightings are guaranteed!
It’s just one of many reasons the park is the second most popular in Kenya – only the Masai Mara draws more visitors.
Amboseli is also a photographer’s paradise. Those wonderful photos you’ve seen of elephants seemingly posing in front of snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro? They were taken here.
Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world, towers over the park like a stately and photogenic sentinel. And when the clouds burn off at dusk or dawn, you’ll be treated to visions of its snowy peak.
But it would be foolish to think elephants are the only wildlife attraction in the park. On your game drives on Amboseli’s great horizons you can spot wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, gazelle and of course, cheetahs and lions.
And not to be overlooked – smaller mammals like hyena, foxes, jackals, vervet monkey and the yellow baboon abound.
The bird life is equally rich especially in the park’s marshes and lakes. Be ready for sightings of pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, egrets and the Madagascar heron. And raptors – 47 types have been spotted including falcon and the harrier eagle.
The sky and horizon are vast here encompassing Amboseli’s 5 wildlife environments which ensure great numbers and diversity: wetlands, savannah, woodlands, thorn-bush and the dry lakebed of Lake Amboseli.
Even the word “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”.
And you’ll find the Maasai people in their villages spread around the park. You can visit with them and experience a truly authentic and ancient African culture.
On the drive in / road safaris , transportation to the park and game viewing will be in private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – this vehicle is the safari standard with its higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive. Always included on our tours, the Land Cruiser Jeep is just another example of the value we offer you at Natural World Kenya Safaris.

Where to see the most animals in Tanzania? What is the best park to see lions in Tanzania? Best time of year for a Tanzania Safari? The experts at ”Face Of Africa Adventures” know the answers. Http://FaceAfricaAdventures.com
Learn more about this Safari here on our blog:
I traveled to Tanzania on this tour with Face of Africa Adventures and saw all these parks in this video in January of 2019 which is a good time. But When is the best time of the year for an African Safari, anyways?
We stayed at the FANAKA Safari Campsite and Lodge, right near Manyara National Park for 2 nights, in a bungalow. It was clean, comfortable and far superior to camping!
We stayed at the Kisura Serengeti Tented Camp in the Seronera region of Serengeti National Park for 2 nights. It was luxurious, and comfortable. They even had running hot water inside our tent and a flush toilet! Great food too! Excellent service by Maasai tribal staff. This tented safari camp was a highlight with a laughing hyena and other animals right outside our tent in the middle of the Serengeti Plains!
We also stayed for one night at the Rhino Lodge near Ngorongoro Crater. The food was probably the best here, and the bed was very very comfortable. There were elephants and African Buffalos in the yard, very very close.
The night before and after our safari, we stayed in the Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha which was very good too.
Face of Africa Adventures did a perfect job of hosting us in the best accommodations, and with excellent game drives every day. We would highly recommend getting a quote from them before you make any decisions on a safari. They seemingly take less profit and provide you with a better Tanzania safari experience than many, and we spoke to at least 20 companies before we settled on Face of Africa Adventures, based on price and quality.
DISCLOSURE: This company gave us a 5% discount for doing this video, we think, but we speak only the truth!
The Tanzania National Parks are World Class. It just doesn't get any better! Face of Africa Adventures knows all of the Tanzania National Parks well, and have access to the highest quality of accommodations inside of the Tanzania National Parks
A Tanzania Safari experience that you will remember for a long time, Face Of Africa Adventures certainly can provide the best Tanzania safari experience, and will go to the best park to see lions in Tanzania, as well as all other other hundreds of types of wildlife!!

AFRICAN SAFARI TOURS A DAY TOUR TO TARANGIRE.
African Safari Tours
Oooh YES YES an “African Safari tours”It was last week and it looked like rain at 7am in the morning as we stood at the Nalopa forecourt, waiting for Samwel and Delvina. These two of course are the founders of Across Africa Nature and two of the nicest people you would hope to meet. So off we went to pick up the lunch boxes at a hotel close to the clock tower in the heart of Arusha. Arusha of course is the gate way to all the “African Safari Tours” So a quick stop to meet the others on the day tour to Tarangire national park, so we pull in to “Nakumat” supermarket and Joseph is there the head guide with Across Africa Nature. Also there are 5 in today’s group, 3 girls from the land down under and two lads from the US of A. So away we go, two jeeps heading to Tarangire to enjoy a day on an African Safari Tours.
ARUSHA THE GATEWAY TO ALL “AFRICAN SAFARI TOURS”
The road out Arusha to the south-west is unusually quite but hey I’m not complaining and as we go on I notice a few young massai boys with white faces and Sam says to me that thoses boys have undergone circumcision as it is a massai tradition to become warriors. On and on we go and within 90 minutes we see a huge sign that says Tarangire National Park 7 km so my anticipation increases and within minutes we are at the Tarangire gate we stop the jeeps get out and stretch the legs and Joseph gives us a quick little introduction and then says let’s go and see Tarangire.
WHAT’S NEXT TO SEE IN TARANGIRE?
WOAH Joseph tears off in the jeep in front ooooh yes yes there is something interesting ahead something rare as the dust fills the Tarangire air we speed along the dirt roads in a hurry to see what ?? I hope you have liked my post today and that you will tune in next week to see what was there. I hope you have liked “African Safari Tours” part one

Starting in November 2015, we’re travelling from Cairo to Cape Town, tracking the world’s plastic footprint. The key purpose of the trip is to find out more about how plastic gets into the world’s oceans and to reveal the real impacts it has on people’s lives and the environment. We’ll also be looking at what effective measures can and should be taken to eliminate the problems we find.

#3.6 Cozy Kili-town Moshi Inside Out
You'll only find one city situated at the flanks of the biggest, free-standing mountain in the world – the Kilimanjaro – and that city is named Moshi. Charlie has spent longer periods of time in Moshi and has always thought of this little, cozy town as super charming. Street life galore!
Many travellers use Moshi as their operating base when they decide to climb the Kili. Understandable, but Moshi has so much more to offer! Have you ever heard of Maji Moto, a beautiful oasis surrounded by fig trees and the clearest water you've ever seen? Or what about a coffee tour around one of the many coffee plantations here? And also make sure to try some of the delicious street food that you can literally get at any street corner!
Charlie takes you on a tour and shows you around the nicest spots in and around Moshi. Many thanks to our film makers Stephan Timman and Melle de Groot.

◎ About Charlie and Charlie's Travels ◎
Hi, I'm Charlie! Some time ago (in 2014) I started an internship in Kenya. I haven't left since, because I fell in love with Africa and started my own travel agency, Charlie's Travels. It's specialised in off the beaten track tours, because we think this continent is so much more than just safari tours and beaches. We believe that for the real Africa experience, you need to go beyond the tourist traps. Africa has so many stereotypes and preconceptions. By making cool and relevant content, we want to show you a different side of the continent! We want to create new routes and awesome adventures, which will make you want to travel here and see it for yourself.

Tanzania - Kikuletwa Hot Springs
“It is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness”
Heading to the hot springs, I thought it would be an easy journey. It's about two to three hours drive from Arusha just outside Moshi, through the rough and dusty plains of Rundagai village.
Kikuletwa Hot Springs, also called Chemka Maji Moto among locals, is probably the most exciting place to swim in Tanzania. These springs are surrounded by amazing roots of fig trees making it look like a hidden paradise.
You will see crystal clear water bubbling from underground caves, giving the impression that it is boiling, hence the name Hot Springs.
This is also home to the Garra Rufa Fish. These smart little fish are used for pedicures around the world. They work by sucking and nibbling on your skin, tenderly removing dead skin cells through natural exfoliation. So you will emerge with shiny, revitalized feet.
The water is perfectly refreshing and we easily spent more than 4 hours taking a dip and relaxing in the shade of the trees.

AFRICAN SAFARI TOURS CONTINUED. visit
African Safari tours continued……Joseph tears off and we follow, Sam tries his best to keep up the hot African skies fill with dust from the road to the point that visibility is zero. Now I fear Sam is driving from memory. Dimmy says to me when this happens there is something good to see as all drivers in the park help each-other to give us tourist the best experience. So within 5 minutes there are maybe 10 jeeps stopped in the road. I wonder, what can it be. And there to the right under the shade of the tree from the mid- day sun are three Lioness, what a site we are no more than twenty meters away. We sit in awe and one decides to model as she stands proud and models for us. Today I really am living the African dream.
AFRICAN SAFARI DAY TOURS COME TO AN END
So it is time to go back to Arusha our Day tour to Tarangire has ended but what a day could not have asked for better the amount of Animals and got to see the big 5 was truly an amazing experience. CULTURAL TOURISM IN TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
As we came back to the gate at Tarangire there was one last thing to do and that was to visit a Masai village to see the warriors and how they live this was very insightful and interesting to see. We were welcomed in to the village with a traditional dance, and then we were shown how the Masai create fire using hard and soft woods. Afterwards we were taken in to their houses which are tiny. The huts consist of two small sleeping area and a little fire. This was a very enriching experience from many perspectives.
