Better Qualified is proud to employ some of the most knowledgeable, helpful and results-driven professionals in the industry. Our credit management experts work with you throughout the process to make sure you not only see results, but that you understand how to maintain healthy credit in the future. Media Credits Column Installment credit is used for a specific purpose, for a defined amount and for a specific period. Payments are usually the same amount each month. Examples of purchases made on installment credit include large appliances, automobiles and furniture. These kinds of loans usually offer lower interest rates than revolving credit. For example, a car company holds a lien on the car until the car loan is repaid. The total amount of the principal and interest is repaid within a predefined period. If the customer defaults on the loan payments, the company can repossess the car and charge penalties. Better Qualified has developed a proven credit management program that will help you manage your credit and save money. Grants Pass, Oregon, in Josephine county, is 24 miles W of Medford, Oregon and 215 miles S of Portland, Oregon. About 23,003 people live in Grants Pass.Grants Pass is home to many parks and open spaces. Some of these include the Westholm Park, Lawnridge Park, Tussing Park, George H Eckstein Park and Riverside Park. The Grants Pass Museum of Art and the Josephine County Historical Society Museum provide insight into the history of this area. The Illinois River Forks State Park, Oregon Caves and Siskiyou National Forest are also worth visiting. Local celebrations include the Asian Cultural Festival, Wild Rogue Balloon Festival and the Josephine County Fair. One way that can make a significant jump for your score is by paying down balances. The process of paying down balances is called utilization ratio. As high utilization ratio also indicates deeper financial problems, it’s time to do some serious budgeting if your ratio creeps up. On an average, Paul Oster, CEO Better Qualified recommends, 'keeping your utilization ratio below 30%.' This is calculated using the borrower’s credit utilization ratio or the amount of available credit used. So if you have card with a $6000 credit limit and you use $3,000, you have a 50% utilization ratio. Industries within Finance and Insurance sector are defined in terms of activities for which a production process can be specified, and many of these activities are not exclusive to a particular type of financial institution. To deal with the varied activities taking place within existing financial institutions, the approach is to split these institutions into components performing specialized services. This requires defining the units engaged in providing those services and developing procedures that allow for their delineation. These units are the equivalents for finance and insurance of the establishments defined for other industries.

The Paintings of Randy Johnson
Randy Johnson's paintings are pure abstractions: compositional gems found within larger fields of seemingly chaotic disorder. While the images are clearly ethereal, they also reveal stunningly familiar patterns that mimic the underlying structural essence of life forms and natural phenomena.
— Architecture+ Magazine,Vol. 7 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
Artist's Statement:
My sense of color developed from the experience of sub-tropical Florida: landscapes with clouds gliding across cerulean skies and lapping turquoise seas; all accented by birds, vibrant foliage and tropical flowers. The paintings have been referred to as abstracted Florida landscapes.
My art is meant to literally touch nerves; to create sensory experiences that trigger memories from our own internal archives. I mean for it to have an ethereal aspect, to have the capacity to start an internal movie-making experience, and to spark a sense of awe in the beautiful variations of our natural world.
—Randy Johnson
Among the artists who have inspired Johnson are Robin Rose, Ray Burggraf, Trevor Bell, Jack Reilly, Daniel Miller, Evgeni Vodenitcharov, Johnny McKenzie, Roger Dean, Peter Max, Brian Rutenberg, Ron Jones, and Randy Grubb.
Johnson's paintings are available in short limited editions of 12 to 30 digital prints on canvas or paper. They are not reproductions of existing works of art. Initial acrylic paintings in acrylics are digitally recomposed and repainted by the artist. The completed works are the end product of an art-making process similar to the complex series of steps that lead to a multi-color serigraph.

Arboursabroad Wedding | Mt. Ashland Ski Resort | Southern Oregon
Jason and Heather Arbour (ArboursAbroad) got married on top of a beautiful mountain named Mt. Ashland in Southern Oregon just before the California Border on July 18th, 2013. They lived and worked in Grants Pass for just over a year before deciding that travel was really what they wanted to pursue, so they bought a one-way ticket to South America. With just about 6 months till they flew out of Southern California, they sold a large portion of their belongings and packed up to hit the road. They took a 2-month road trip across the US in their Toyota Camry with a common theme of hitting a ton of National Parks and seeing friends/family along the way. Their trip ended in Newport Beach, California at the end of October 2014 and were in Lima, Peru before Halloween. If you want to read more about their time in South America and what the rest of their journey up until now has looked like, then head on over to the blog at Cheers

Coming November 2014 to a Bookstore or Library near yoU!
Lupe Impala, El Chavo Flapjack, and Elirio Malaria love working with cars. You name it, they can fix it. But the team's favorite cars of all are lowriders—cars that hip and hop, dip and drop, go low and slow, bajito y suavecito. The stars align when a contest for the best car around offers a prize of a trunkful of cash—just what the team needs to open their own shop! ¡Ay chihuahua! What will it take to transform a junker into the best car in the universe? Striking, unparalleled art from debut illustrator Raul the Third recalls ballpoint-pen-and-Sharpie desk-drawn doodles, while the story is sketched with Spanish, inked with science facts, and colored with true friendship. With a glossary at the back to provide definitions for Spanish and science terms, this delightful book will educate and entertain in equal measure.

3 Reasons Not to Fund Art with Taxes
A few weeks back, Hollywood movie stars and groups such as the Creative Coalition stormed Washington, D.C. to lobby for increased taxpayer funding of the arts. Most memorably, Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey told Hardball's Chris Matthew that Abraham Lincoln was a huge theater fan who understood that he needed the arts to replenish his soul. (Not surprisingly, Spacey didn't mention where Lincoln was assassinated or the profession of his killer).
But funding the arts with taxapayer dollars is a bad idea for at least three reasons.
1. Publicly financed art is easily censored art. Last December, the National Portrait Gallery almost immediately pulled a four-minute video called A Fire in My Belly after complaints from the Catholic League and politicians such as Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), who objected to images of ants crawling over a crucifix. It's hard to imagine a private museum so quickly and cravenly pulling an offending piece. But when the taxpayer is footing the bill, the most easily aggrieved among us yields a thug's veto. Indeed, in February, scandalized Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) even called for getting rid of a 1922 statue in New York City due to what he says is its sexist portrayal of women.
2. We're broke. Advocates of public funding for the arts routinely argue that the budget of groups such as the National Endowment for the Arts comes to just pennies per citizen and the cost of just one Pentagon bomber is comparatively huge. But government at every level is flat broke, so it's all money we don't have. Defense spending, which has jacked up by over 70 percent in inflation-adjusted dollars since 2001, should be cut drastically. But that doesn't mean smaller items should get a pass or that taxpayers should pony up for another season of Dr. Who reruns on PBS.
3. It's unnecessary. NEA head Rocco Landesman has defended grants to groups such as the San Francisco Mime Troupe on the grounds that it is a world-famous outfit that has contributed mightily to the stage. Which is another way of saying it should have little to no trouble finding private patrons to help it out. Americans give around $13 billion a year in private donations to the arts. That's a lot of money and if it's not enough to fund every request, groups such as the San Francisco Mime Troupe will just have to figure out how to better work the crowd.
About 2.45 minutes.
