Impressions of Groznjan, Istria, Croatia.
During our spring holiday we visited the artist village Groznjan, in northern Istria, in Croatia.
It is a sleepy, but very cosy little village at the top of a hill, not far from Umag.
Visit to Groznjan Croatia at Warp Speed
During our vacation to Umag, Croatia, we stopped out at another hilltop town on August 26, 2012. This one is Groznjan which is a favorite of artists from all over the world. As we were looking at the architecture one of the largest summer storms the area has seen rolled in. Hail and high winds hit the shoreline we were to take our time getting home due to fallen trees. The storm continued again that night until after midnight. The next day bits of trees, homes, and stands at the beaches were strewn about. Music is 'Warrior of Light.'
