24 Hours of Reality 2017: A Higher Power (UK)
( In 2006, the Church of England launched the Shrinking the Footprint campaign to push its 42 dioceses and 16,000 churches to live its values of care for creation. With the Church committing to cut its carbon emissions by 80 percent by 2050, churches of all sizes are now getting involved, from Gloucester Cathedral installing solar on its centuries-old structure to Holy Trinity Parish in London “building with awareness” with energy-efficient materials.

Chesterfield unique church
A truly unique building I've passed through Chesterfield many times but never visited the church. ..well worth a visit as the stained glass and architecture truly amazing.
The church is around 650 years old and the builders used an incorrectly seasoned hardwood (green wood)
That is why the spire twisted over time, the spire is structurely sound.
There are around 32 tones of special lead tiles on the roof.
Music : Enya; Dark sky island.

Harvington Bells
Ringing the bells of St James' Church, Harvington, Evesham, England. The band is using the English Full Circle method of ringing. First the No. 4 bell is 'stood' or 'set'. It is then rung down to its normal, rest position, then rung back up to its quasi-stable play position. The band then rings 'Plain Hunt', in which the order of ringing is changed to that bells 1 to 5 take it in turns to play in each position. The heaviest bell, no. 6, the Tenor, stays at the end of the sequence. Filmed by Mike, uploaded by Chris

Amongst the bells, and ringers: All Saints Maidstone, Kent
An extract of a quarter peal of Grandsire Caters on the fine Taylor 10 at Maidstone, Kent.
The camera angle could be better and they take a bit of ringing to get right, but are very rewarding when rolling. The deep hums and aftertones are arguable at their best when ringing the front bells when the striking is very good.
Some might say that they are similar to Wigan; Wigan were cast in 1935 more or less to the same profile and same note, though are hung on bigger wheels. Some also might say that they are a copy of Wigan.
Thank you to Jake Reid for supplying the initial video.
