BOSPHORUS CRUISE ISTANBUL 2019 | ISTANBUL TRAVEL GUIDE
I started the Bosphorus Cruise Istanbul 2019 in Beşiktaş by taking a regular Bosphorus transport ferryboat. We moved from Beşiktaş to Sarıyer along the European Shore of the Bosphorus.
The Bosphorus is called in Turkish Istanbul Boğazı (Throat). It is a busy waterway and this Bosporus strait is connecting the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea. One side is Europe and on the other is Asia. Both shores are lined with beautiful Yalıs. A Yalı is a Bosphorus seafront mansion. I cruised along the European shore of the Bosporus. One of Istanbul's must do's is an Istanbul Bosphorus Trip.
There are many options to do a Istanbul Bosphorus Tour. You can do a private Bosphorus trip, a circle Bosphorus cruise or a full Bosphorus cruise. Another option is called Bosphorus by night tour, cruising and having a magical experience of the city by night.

Istanbul Cruise Tour | Where Europe Meets Asia | Hindi Travel Vlog | Shadez Of Megz
#Istanbul #EuropeTravel #HindiVlog Traveling To Turkey? If you are planning your travel to turkey, Istanbul or Cappadocia, I have all the information for you in my Turkey Travel Vlogs. A cruise on the Bosphorus is probably the most overlooked Istanbul tourist attraction. This is the meeting of two continents. The Bosphorus is what separates Europe and Asia.
Second day in istanbul, we planned to visit world famous Blue Mosque, this was really beautiful architecture and we spend some good time outside in park, while eating street foods but also inside the mosque, it was really peaceful and we admired it's beauty and we were left mesmerized after this trip. We then went to galata bridge and enjoyed the locals and tourists having fun at the vibrant place.
After that we had a quick drink break, this was very hot day and whenever we had chance, we drank cold drinks, juices and famous turkish butter milk.
How to plan trip to turkey is very common question in everyone's mind, and I believe you can plan your trip after watching my this travel series.
Turkey is one of the most amazing country where East meets West and getting visa to visit turkey is also not a very complex process. If someone has valid Schengen visa, residence card, they can get turkish tourist visa online in 10 minutes. Cost for the visa was around 45$
We started our journey to Istanbul from Amsterdam, we flew from Turkish airlines and it was a comfortable 3.5 hours flight. As we always do, we had pre-ordered our vegetarian food in the flight and it was good. We landed at new Istanbul airport which started in April 2019 only and it was very huge and modern.
We were staying only for one night in Istanbul and was traveling to Cappadocia next day morning so we had booked a hotel which was close to Istanbul airport but that airport is now closed and new airport is around 40 KMs away from city.
There are many ways to come to Istanbul city from airport, you can get airport taxis, buses etc and buses are mostly common means to transport and it's also cost effective. We took Istanbul card and recharged it with 100 Turkish Lira and reached to place which was close to our hotel. From there we took the taxi which costs 30 TL and we reached to hotel which was basic but value for money hotel and then we explored the neighborhood for dinner.
Thanks for watching and keep following my travel in turkey. I releases video every week, Wednesday & Saturday, 8 AM IST.
I would appreciate if you would like and comment on this video and please do subscribe to my youtube channel.

Bosphorus Tour by boat. Cruise between Asia and Europe | Istanbul Travel Guide
I started the Bosphorus tour in Üsküdar by taking a regular transport ferryboat. It was a beautiful, warm and windy day.
The Bosphorus is called in Turkish Istanbul Boğazı (Throat). This busy waterway, the Bosporus strait is connecting the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea. It is 19 miles (31 km) long and has a maximum width of 2.3 miles (3.7 km) and a minimum width of 2,450 feet (0.75 km). One side is Europe and on the other Asia. Both shores are lined with beautiful Yalıs. A Yalı is a Bosphorus seafront mansion. I cruised along the Asian shore of the Bosporus that day.
We stopped in
-Beylerbeyi
-Anadoluhisarı
-Kanlıca
-Çubuklu
There are many options to do a Bosphorus Tour. What i did was a cheap version of a cruise. You can do a private Bosphorus trip, a circle Bosphorus cruise or a full Bosphorus cruise. Another option is called Bosphorus by night tour, cruising and having a magical experience of the city by night.

Bosphorus Cruise in Istanbul, Turkey
No visit to Istanbul is complete without taking a Bosphorus cruise because it features so many interesting sights. The 20 mile long strait, which joins the Sea of Marmara to the south with the Black Sea to the north, is a key waterway in Istanbul. We saw a lot of important landmarks including palaces, mosques, and schools.

Bosphorus Tour in Istanbul / Turkey
One of the worlds most strategic waterways, Bosphorus is the strait between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara; it is an inundated valley that follows an irregular northeast-southwest course 32km (20 miles) long, 730-3300m (800-3600 yards) wide, 30-120m (100-395ft) deep.
Bosphorus comes from a Tracian word of unknown origin, interpreted in Greek as meaning “Ford of the Cow”, from the legend of Io, one of the many lovers of Zeus, who swam across the sea here as a cow chased and continuously disturbed by flies sent by Hera.
Known in Turkish as Bogazici (the Strait), it links the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara and, with theDardanelles (in Canakkale), separates Europe from Asia. It is a former river valley which was drowned by the sea at the end of the Tertiary period. This is a very busy strait with many ships and oil tankers, as well as local fishing and passenger boats.
The current flows north to south; however, a strong subsurface countercurrent with numerous points and coves sets up swirls and eddies that make navigation dangerous to the inexperienced.
There are two suspension toll bridges on this Strait: The first one over the Bosphorus between Beylerbeyi and Ortaköy, opened in 1973, is called as Bogazici Bridge, 1074m (1175yards) long, 6 lanes, 165m (540ft) height of piers. The second one between Anadolu Hisari andRumeli Hisari, opened in 1988, is called as Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, 1090m (1192yd) long, 8 lanes, 65m from the water.
With the shores rising to heights up to 200m (650ft), lined with palaces, ruins, villages, and gardens, this is one of the most beautiful stretches of scenery in Turkey. The best way of seeing the Bosphorus in all its beauty is to take a trip on one of the coastal boats, in this way you can also admire many of the old Ottoman wooden houses (called as Yali in Turkish). You can also stay in some of the best hotels or eat in some of the best restaurants along its shores during your stay in this magnificent city.
Some of the interesting palaces, buildings or neighborhoods on the Bosphorus are: Galata tower, Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace,Yildiz Palace, Besiktas, Ortaköy, Arnavutköy, Bebek, Rumeli Fortress, Tarabya, Yeniköy, Istinye, Sariyer, Uskudar (Scutari), Kanlica, Beykoz,Anatolian Fortress, Beylerbeyi Palace and Kuleli Military High school.

The Bosporus or Bosphorus is a narrow, natural strait and an internationally significant waterway located in northwestern Turkey. It forms part of the continental boundary between Europe and Asia, and divides Turkey by separating Anatolia from Thrace. It is the world's narrowest strait used for international navigation, the Bosporus connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara, and, by extension via the Dardanelles, the Aegean and Mediterranean seas.
Most of the shores of the strait are heavily settled, straddled by the city of Istanbul's metropolitan population of 17 million inhabitants extending inland from both coasts.
Together with the Dardanelles, the Bosporus forms the Turkish Straits.

Turkish Airlines Tour Touristanbul
I thought we would do a walking tour of Istanbul... what happened was we went on a boat ride. Your tour is determined by the day of the week and the time your flight will depart. It is a free tour so I am not complaining. The city is big enough to go multiple times and see something different each time. Your luggage is scanned upon entering the Ataturk terminal.
There are multiple PrimeClass Lounges. The one we used near the food court has two sides, one for general population, and another for limited use. If you have PrimeClass membership or purchase the use for the day, you can go back and forth between either side. If you have Priority Pass, you have to stay on the more populated side.
