New England, USA: Winter in the Berkshires
Walking along Stockbridge High Street is like stepping back in time when the Berkshires in Massachusetts was home to the celebrated artist Norman Rockwell. As we explore the villages that make up the region we visit: the Museum that displays Rockwell's work documenting the simplicity of his life and times in New England; Gilded Cottages once homes to the wealthy; spend time on the ski hills at Jiminy Peak; and take in the Hancock Shaker Village. Finally we travel to the outskirts of the Berkshires to Old Sturbridge Village Park -- an interactive museum that gives insight to the early 19th century. Ice Fishing Pike, Bass, and Pickerel
In this video you see the fish myself and my buddy Ethan caught while spending MLK long weekend on Pontuusic lake ( or pontoosuc how ever It is spelled) we had a great trip to the Pittsfield area and some real great fishing! I ended up with the only caught pike this trip at 36+ and an estimated 12# fatty! This fish was for sure a Ma state pin fish, but was quickly put back in order to survive. This is my second year in a row catching a trophy sized pike here with the first one last year at 42+ and 18+#! The pickerel were heavy and bait thieves as always and the bass were slow unfortunately. Over all a great trip and decent ice conditions! Thanks for the bait Jim!! Enjoy the video!!
