Water Fountain in Tenali-2 (By Dreams Mobiles)
Till a few years ago when the VGTMUDA undertook development of this town, the Chinaravuru Park located on the outskirts, used to be like a condemned place often enveloped in darkness and few people could be seen going anywhere close to that as there was nothing worthy to be seen.
The small lake used to be swarmed by mosquitoes and cleanliness was not to be found in its vicinity.
People, particularly women, preferred to stay away from this place due to a sense of insecurity.
But for the movement of a few vehicles through the railway level crossing abutting the park, the place would be silent.
After this park became Satyanarayana VGTMUDA Lake Park, it started drawing huge crowds. It proved to be an instant hit with the masses.
For those seeking a relief from the hustle-bustle of urban areas, it is nowadays a perfect getaway.
There is no other park of its kind in the limits of VGTMUDA, which developed this erstwhile source of drinking water for parts of Tenali and the surrounding villages, into a picturesque locale.
The park derives its name from Ravi Satyanarayana who was chairman of the municipality for six years between 1938 and 1949.
The park was inaugurated in April 2002 by the then Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and was renovated in April last year at a cost of nearly Rs 3 crore at the instance of Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar.
Bala Bhavan
There was a Bala Bhavan and some facilities for children to play, inaugurated by former Chief Minister Jalagam Vengal Rao in 1988.
Spread on about seven acres, the park is now drawing a large number of people.
It has got a walking/jogging track, a lush green garden around the lake and playthings for children.
The pre-programmed and auto-sensing musical fountain situated right in the midst of the park is the main attraction, particularly for children. It has an exclusive gallery for the visitors to be seated.
Boat ride
Arrangements are being made for boat ride on the serene lake and a separate building was constructed for putting up video games for children.
With a wide variety of plants and trees, the landscaping gives a beautiful look to the park which starts glowing once the modern power-saving lights are switched on in the evenings.
The park will have its own food court and other facilities soon.

Baku ( bə-KOO, BAH-koo; Azerbaijani: Bakı, IPA: [bɑˈcɯ]) is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, as well as the largest city on the Caspian Sea and of the Caucasus region. Baku is located 28 metres (92 ft) below sea level, which makes it the lowest lying national capital in the world and also the largest city in the world located below sea level. It is located on the southern shore of the Absheron Peninsula, alongside the Bay of Baku. At the beginning of 2009, Baku's urban population was estimated at just over two million people. Officially, about 25 percent of all inhabitants of the country live in Baku's metropolitan area. Baku is the sole metropolis in Azerbaijan.
Baku is divided into twelve administrative Baku's (raions) and 48 townships. Among these are the townships on the islands of the Baku Archipelago, and the town of Oil Rocks built on stilts in the Caspian Sea, 60 kilometres (37 miles) away from Baku. The Inner City of Baku, along with the Shirvanshah's Palace and Maiden Tower, were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. According to the Lonely Planet's ranking, Baku is also among the world's top ten destinations for urban nightlife. The city is the scientific, cultural, and industrial center of Azerbaijan. Many sizeable Azerbaijani institutions have their headquarters there. The Baku International Sea Trade Port is capable of handling two million tons of general and dry bulk cargoes per year. In recent years, Baku has become an important venue for international events. It hosted the 57th Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, the 2015 European Games, 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, the F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix since 2016, and will host UEFA Euro 2020. SUMMARY
=======
Modern architecture, or modernist architecture was based upon new and innovative technologies of construction, particularly the use of glass, steel and reinforced concrete; the idea that form should follow function (→functionalism); an embrace of minimalism; and a rejection of ornament.
It emerged in the first half of the 20th century and became dominant after World War II until the 1980s, when it was gradually replaced as the
principal style for institutional and corporate buildings by postmodern architecture.
