???? BEES MAKING HONEY ???? Mary K. Oxley Nature Center ???? [Tulsa, OK] | LaneVids - On our road trip, we stopped at the Mary K Oxley Nature Center in Tulsa, OK. We got to explore the nature center and we saw an exhibit where bees were making honey.
This nature center is near Mohawk Park in Tulsa, OK, which is a huge park in the state of Oklahoma. If you are looking for things to do in Tulsa, OK, then this is a great place on a hot day where you can explore the nature center or on a cool day where you can hike the trails and walk the grounds.
They had many great exhibits showing the growth of a tree, live caterpillars, the sounds of some of the birds in the park and a bee exhibit where live bees come in from the outside and deposit the nectar into an apiary inside the nature center. The kids were fascinated by it.
They had a display of all of the animals that they have found in the area from mice to coyotes, and bobcats to squirrel. We had fun exploring this nature center. Next time we want to explore the park a little more, it was just too hot today.

- stacking projects
- magnet area with iron filings and ferro fluid

- huge light bright
- spiralgraph
- marble run
- and so much more
In the main play room they had a Huge Slide that is all made out of tape! They used 1000s of rolls of tape to create this huge slide in the children's museum.
Also in the play area they had other science activities for kids such as:
- Angry birds slingshot
- build a bridge
- build an arch
- build huge blocks to learn about measurement
- putting together pipes
They also had a Toddler play area with a ball pit, ball suction thing, strings for motor skills, and a whole lot more.
We went with my wife, myself, our son (3), our daughter (5), and my sister in law (15). We all had fun, so you can definitely bring the whole family for a good time here and made for a fun things to do in Tulsa. Best of all, it's only $6 per person.
Also outside of the Children's museum is a huge beautiful Tulsa park with a pond, huge grassy area, playground and picnic areas.

????WATCH NEXT: Part 8 of our road trip travel series:
⚓️ WHAT'S ON THIS TUGBOAT | PORT OF CATOOSA [Catoosa, OK] | LaneVids - This is a travel vlog of our family's 2016 summer road trip. We're in Oklahoma and Grumps brought us to the Port of Catoosa to see the Charlie Border, an old retired tugboat at the Maritime Education Center.
Before heading to see the old tugboat, the Charlier Border, at the Port of Catoosa, we ate lunch at El Puerto Mexican restaurant in Catoosa, OK.
After eating some delicious mexican food, we headed to the Port of Catoosa and we found the Maritime Education Center where the Charlie Border is located.
We got to get on this old tugboat and explore around. We looked through all of the windows and we saw the tugboat engine room. Some of the areas were roped off for some reason. I really wanted to climb to the top of the tugboat.
This was a fun little self-guided tugboat tour that we got to experience in Catoosa, OK. If you are in the Tulsa area, this is a nice educational things to do in Oklahoma with kids.
Have you ever been on a tugboat before? Thanks for watching! Don't forget to give us a THUMBS UP, and click the bell button so that you never miss any of our videos!
