Running Grand Prix at Goodwood House
Join us for a unique opportunity to run a Half Marathon, Marathon, 10k & 5k at Goodwood Motor Circuit organised by RunThrough Events. Run at the world famous Goodwood Motor Circuit, home to the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, and enjoy the thrill of running a brand new course and racing your way to a new chip timed personal best on this smooth traffic free tarmac motor racing circuit!
Located at the foot of the Sussex Downs, the track is the only classic circuit in the world to remain entirely in its original form. Goodwood Motor Circuit originally opened its gates to the public on September 1948, to host Britain’s very first post-war motor race meeting at a permanent venue.
Each mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish. This is a lapped course, with each lap being around 5k.

Stand-up historian and Toyota Avensis driver Bill Callaghan tells the stories of his travels around the UK as @BillysBritain on Twitter. Celebrating the best of British, Bill is accompanied on his travels by his beagle, Fitzroy, and a Toyota Avensis estate, proudly built in Britain.
Following on from his visit to Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, Bill headed across to the former site of RAF Westhampnett, a satellite station to the main base at Tangmere. Today, it is better known as the Goodwood Motor Circuit and Aerodrome as the land remains part of the large West Sussex estate.
