Morocco Travel | Casablanca to Marrakech 1st Moroccan Train Ride
Morocco Travel | Casablanca to Marrakech 1st Moroccan Train Ride
We traveled by rail in between cities, a cheap and efficient option in Morroco.
The trains are clean and safe and air-conditioned.
There is little price difference between first and second class,
though first class allows you reserve seats where as second is first come first serve.
Bathrooms are a bit schetchy but functional.
When you factor in cost and time spent catching a flight, the train clearly comes out on top.
The lines run between Marrakech in the south and Tangier in the north, linking the coastal cities in between.
For the rest of the country busses are the only option for public transit.
We were only able to take standard trains but high speed rail is being introduced to the region.

The Train from Marrakech to Casablanca, Morocco: Our Experience
We recently visited Morocco and took the train from Marrakech to Casablanca. It was scheduled for 3.5 hours, but took a bit longer than 4 hours. It was a pleasant experience for all. We recommend getting the 1st class tickets for a bit more space and comfort.

CASABLANCA MOROCCO CITY TOUR - Travel Vlog
We are in Casablanca, the city known for the classic film Casablanca which just celebrated its 75th anniversary. The city is the most populous in Morocco located along the coast, known for having one of the largest mosques in the world, French influence, and faded grandeur. Here's looking at you kid!
First stop is the beach. Casablanca is a port city with many beach clubs along the ocean bluff. On the day we visited, it was raining - the first rain since May.
Next stop is Hassan II Mosque, the tallest minaret mosque and one of the top places to take photos. The mosque holds 25,000 people and the entire complex holds over 100,000 total. It is a popular pilgrimage site during Ramadan. We tour the mosque, including the wash room where it is the Islamic tradition to wash your hands and feet before prayer.
Next we tour the city and check into our Hotel - the Kenzi Basma.
► ►
Next, we take an adventurous walk across the street to the Sky 28 - the perfect view of the city.

Casablanca City Tour l Morocco Street and Life【HD Travel】???????? ????
Casablanca is Morocco’s most cosmopolitan city and its economic anchor. Settled by the Berbers and successively inhabited by the Phoenicians, Romans, Portuguese and French, the dynamic port fully embraces its cultural diversity. The result is a mix of whitewashed medinas and Art Deco landmarks, long-standing souks (markets) and edgy galleries, which together reflect the buzzing face of modern Morocco.

CASABLANCA MOROCCO!!
I had the amazing opportunity to visit and explore MOROCCO! Casablanca was the first pitstop in a series of cities I visited. In this video our group of 8 toured the Hassan Mosque which was amazing inside and out as well as visited a private school, and a location for children with disabilities or other handicaps. People who have disabilities is a foreign concept to Morocco. It is not accepted and luckily the locations we were able to visit take such great care of these children and adults who have the biggest hearts regardless of their handicap. We had so much fun working with children of all areas including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, clubbed feet and more. I hope you guys enjoy because this is just the first video of many of my time in Morocco!

TRAVEL TO MOROCCO | VISIT CASABLANCA
Casablanca (Arabic: الدار البيضاء, translit. ad-dār al-bayḍāʾ; Berber languages: ⴰⵏⴼⴰ, translit. anfa; local informal name: Kaẓa), located in the central-western part of Morocco and bordering the Atlantic Ocean, is the largest city in Morocco. It is also the largest city in the Maghreb region, as well as one of the largest and most important cities in Africa, both economically and demographically.
Casablanca is Morocco's chief port and one of the largest financial centers on the continent. According to the 2014 population estimate, the city has a population of about 3.35 million in the urban area and over 6.8 million in the Casablanca-Settat region. Casablanca is considered the economic and business center of Morocco, although the national political capital is Rabat.
The leading Moroccan companies and many international corporations doing business in the country have their headquarters and main industrial facilities in Casablanca. Recent industrial statistics show Casablanca retains its historical position as the main industrial zone of the country. The Port of Casablanca is one of the largest artificial ports in the world,[3] and the second largest port of North Africa, after Tanger-Med 40 km (25 mi) east of Tangier.[4] Casablanca also hosts the primary naval base for the Royal Moroccan Navy.

In our first episode we are in MARRAKECH! We are here to eat as much HALAL STREET FOOD as possible! We are spending the day exploring the ancient medina and eating a ton of food along the way. We start the day eating Bessara (Moroccan fava bean soup), and then visit the community bakery. We visit the first pastry shop in Marrakech to try some traditional sweets, and wash it down with freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. The medina features some cool shops that sell pickles and famous Moroccan mint. We have lunch in a busy corner of the market and try cactus fruit for the first time. We take a break from eating and visit the Secret Garden and then watch the sunset over the city. In the evening, we hit the night market for more food: Jemaa el-Fna. We eat the classic Moroccan street foods - like braised escargots!
What a HUGE day of eating traditional dishes and STREET FOOD in Marrakesh! MASSIVE thanks to Mohamed from Moroccan Food Tour for making this happen. Morocco unveils Africa's fastest railway line | Money Talks
Tourists and commuters can now travel across Morocco on Africa's first high-speed train. The LGV is a joint project between France and Morocco and halves the travel time between Casablanca and the coastal city of Tangier. There are also hopes it'll bring a much-needed boost to the economy, as Paulo Montecillo reports. For me on this, political economist Ismail Lagardien joins us from Cape Town, South Africa.
