1. Hassan II Mosque Casablanca
The Hassan II Mosque or Grande Mosquée Hassan II is a mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. It is the largest mosque in Morocco, the second largest in Africa, and the 5th largest in the world. Its minaret is the world's tallest minaret at 210 metres . Completed in 1993, it was designed by Michel Pinseau and built by Bouygues. The minaret is 60 stories high topped by a laser, the light from which is directed towards Mecca. The mosque stands on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic Ocean; worshippers can pray over the sea but there is no glass floor looking into the sea. The walls are of hand-crafted marble and the roof is retractable. A maximum of 105,000 worshippers can gather together for prayer: 25,000 inside the mosque hall and another 80,000 on the mosque's outside ground.

The Ain-Diab Circuit was a Formula One road circuit built in 1957, south west of Ain-Diab in Morocco, using the existing coast road and the main road from Casablanca to Azemmour that ran through the Sidi Abderhaman forest. Prior to 1957, the Anfa Circuit and the Agadir circuit were used for the Moroccan Grand Prix. The 4.724 miles course was designed by the Royal Automobile Club of Morocco and given a full blessing from Sultan Mohammed V. It took six weeks to construct. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Morocco:

CASABLANCA MOROCCO CITY TOUR - Travel Vlog

We are in Casablanca, the city known for the classic film Casablanca which just celebrated its 75th anniversary. The city is the most populous in Morocco located along the coast, known for having one of the largest mosques in the world, French influence, and faded grandeur. Here's looking at you kid!

First stop is the beach. Casablanca is a port city with many beach clubs along the ocean bluff. On the day we visited, it was raining - the first rain since May.

Next stop is Hassan II Mosque, the tallest minaret mosque and one of the top places to take photos. The mosque holds 25,000 people and the entire complex holds over 100,000 total. It is a popular pilgrimage site during Ramadan. We tour the mosque, including the wash room where it is the Islamic tradition to wash your hands and feet before prayer.

Next we tour the city and check into our Hotel - the Kenzi Basma.
