THE MUSEUM OF NORWICH AT THE BRIDEWELL
This film was made by members of the Norwich Community Histoy Club. The Club visited the newly refurbished Museum of Norwich. It is based in The Bridewell, Bridewell Alley, Norwich. They were impressed with what they saw and began to realise that many of the collections had a personal connection to them.
So this film is a tour of the museum that includes some of their own stories too. Stories that may also be familiar to you.

Norwich is a city on the River Wensum in East Anglia and lies about 100 miles north-east of London. Norwich is the regional administrative centre for East Anglia and county town of Norfolk. During the 11th century, Norwich was the largest city in England after London, and one of its most important. In May 2012, Norwich was designated England's first UNESCO City of Literature. Since 1298 Norwich has returned two members of parliament to the House of Commons. Until 1950 the city was an undivided constituency, returning two MPs. Since that date the area has been divided between two single-member constituencies: Norwich North and Norwich South.
The principal local football club is Norwich City, also known as the Canaries, who play in the second tier of English football, the Championship, after being relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2015–16 season.

Anglia Square Norwich - Where tour guides fear to tread - 70's Architecture
This is a tongue in cheek look at Anglia Square in Norwich UK. I grew up not far from this iconic area, so it holds fond memories of my childhood. The imposing HSMO building and typical 1970's architecture dominate the skyline and locale. The entire area is due for redevelopment and the shops are not having their leases renewed. Some say it has always been an eyesore right from its conception, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
