NCAA On Campus - NCAA Hall of Champions
After a fire destroyed portions of the original Hall of Champions at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis, IN, officials shut it down for quite some time. But the NCAA saw it as an opportunity... an opportunity to revamp and renovate its exhibits, and give the public a better insight into the experience of an NCAA student-athlete...

Epic Run - Indianapolis Canal Walk
Click SHOW MORE for trail details. Checkout what we are up to at:
Whether you are in town for the Indy 500, a business trip, the amazing children’s museum (like us), or simply call Indianapolis home, it’s hard to beat the 3-mile Canal Walk for cleanliness, atmosphere and urban beauty. The Canal Walk is a flat-and-fast three mile loop of wide concrete lanes that runs alongside the lovely blue-green Central Indiana Canal; passing 11 unique pedestrian bridges, each one devoted to an era of Indiana history. While you can enter the path from anywhere on the loop it’s probably easiest to enter from the well-maintained green space of White River State Park, right near Victory Field and the NCAA Hall of Champions. From there you can join the steady (but not overwhelming) flow of scooters, segways, runners and walkers through lovely urban neighborhoods, complete with Canal side eateries, as well as micro parks with seating areas and gazebos, or venture off along one of the connected greenway trails. And when you’re done running epic, you can enjoy a whole range of museums, restaurants and art galleries – or enjoy a nice post-run stretch on the grassy fields along the White River. I have to say I did this run on a whim while visiting Indy with the kids and it blew me away. In some ways it felt so picturesque and perfect that I felt like I was running on a moving set for an idealistic city…in it’s category (i.e. everyday urban pathways), it truly is epic!

Should the NCAA Move the Final Four Out of Indianapolis?
The NCAA Tournament is coming to a close with a Final Four that is set to entertain the masses. The storyline of Kentucky going for a perfect season should be the headline, but Indiana’s recently passed legislation in regards to a “Religious Freedom” bill left the door open for discrimination, specifically against sexual orientation and LGBT. The bill has seen a wide range of criticism from multiple high level associations such as NASCAR and high profile athletes like Reggie Miller, Jason Collins and Pat Haden (USC Athletic Director). It would be difficult, near impossible, to make a last second change, but in light of the bill that is worthy of such outrage...is out completely out of the question?
