Travel Day Chefchaouen to Casablanca via CTM bus
Today is our last full day in Morocco. It's a very long bus ride from Chefchaouen to Casablanca. We didn't do much cause we got up so early and took a nap which took a big chunk of our day haha. We ended up just going to the grocery store for dinner and we find out the real prices of food in Morocco! We don't remember if we mentioned it before but Morocco had no prices showing anywhere. This made it difficult to gauge the real prices of food in Morocco.

Morocco, December ep. 3: Casablanca โมร็อกโก (ในเดือนธันวาคม) นั่งรถไฟไปคาซาบลังก้า
On our 4'th day in Morocco we take a day trip from Marrakesh to Casablanca by train. It's rainy and quite cold as we leave early in the morning, and because of heavy rain showers also in Casablanca, there is not as much footage from this trip as we would have liked... We pass by some beautiful landscapes on the way, however, and get a nice view of Casablanca (Sacre Coeur) Cathedral on our way to the famous Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa. The thick sea air and magic light makes the whole place look amazing, a really memorable sight indeed.
The video and pictures were captured with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 and a Samsung S6, and edited in Pinnacle Studio.

Traveling to CASABLANCA MOROCCO and the Grand Mosque!
Taking a CTM bus from Chefchaouen to Casablanca we visit the Hassan II mosque and medina to decide whether or not it's worth visiting Casablanca.

WALKING IN CASABLANCA | 20 Hours Layover in Morocco
WALKING IN CASABLANCA | 20 Hours Layover in Morocco
CASABLANCA MARRUECOS
On my way to Brazil I had a 20 hours layover in Casablanca, Morocco. Traveling with Royal Air Morocco I had a paid hotel, transport and food.
About Casablanca:
Casablanca is located in the central-western part of Morocco bordering the Atlantic Ocean, is the largest city in Morocco. It is also the largest city in the Maghreb, as well as one of the largest and most important cities in Africa, both economically and demographically.
Casablanca is Morocco's chief port and one of the largest financial centers on the continent. According to the 2014 population estimate, the city has a population of about 3.35 million in the urban area and over 6.8 million in the Casablanca-Settat region. Casablanca is considered the economic and business center of Morocco, although the national political capital is Rabat.
The leading Moroccan companies and international corporations doing business in the country have their headquarters and main industrial facilities in Casablanca. Recent industrial statistics show Casablanca retains its historical position as the main industrial zone of the country. The Port of Casablanca is one of the largest artificial ports in the world, and the second largest port of North Africa, after Tanger-Med 40 km east of Tangier. Casablanca also hosts the primary naval base for the Royal Moroccan Navy.
Royal Air Maroc has its head office at the Casablanca-Anfa Airport. In 2004, it announced that it was moving its head office from Casablanca to a location in Province of Nouaceur, close to Mohammed V International Airport. The agreement to build the head office in Nouaceur was signed in 2009.
The biggest CBD of Casablanca and Maghreb is in the North of the town in Sidi Maarouf near the mosque of Hassan II and the biggest project of skycrapers of Maghreb and Africa Casablanca Marina.

Casablanca Tramway line is the biggest of its kind in Morocco
Casablanca tramway is a primary element of the Casablanca Urban Development Programme, which has resulted from an alliance between France and Morocco. The programme aims to enhance the living conditions of Casablanca, along with sustaining its potential as an economy.
The excellent Casa Tramway makes getting across the city a simple and comfortable exercise. The most useful section of line for travellers is from Casa Voyageurs train station to Place Mohammed V, via the Marché Central and Place des Nations Unies. Trams also go to Ain Diab (about 35 minutes from central Casablanca).
Trams run every 4 minutes, with the first and last departures from the terminal at 5.30am and 10.30pm.
The Citadis trams have been custom-built to facilitate free movement of passengers. Each tram can accommodate 606 passengers.
Trams have been specifically manufactured to match with the architecture of Casablanca. The interiors are inclusive of colours and motifs conforming to the specific style of Morocco.
Large tinted bay windows, air-conditioning and window aisles assure the passengers of comfortable ambience. The trams also have display systems providing information in Arabic and French.
