Oxford, a city in central southern England, revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. The architecture of its 38 colleges in the city’s medieval center led poet Matthew Arnold to nickname it the 'City of Dreaming Spires'. University College and Magdalen College are off the High Street, which runs from Carfax Tower (with city views) to the Botanic Garden on the River Cherwell
Oxford is a city in the South East region of England and the county town of Oxfordshire. Oxford is the 52nd largest city in the United Kingdom, and one of the fastest growing and most ethnically diverse. The city of Oxford is situated 57 miles (92 km) from London, 69 miles (111 km) from Bristol, 65 miles (105 km) from both Southampton and Birmingham and 25 miles (40 km) from Reading.
Oxford is known worldwide as the home of the University of Oxford, the oldest university in the English-speaking world. Buildings in Oxford demonstrate notable examples of every English architectural period since the late Saxon period. Oxford is known as the city of dreaming spires, a term coined by poet Matthew Arnold. Oxford has a broad economic base. Hey everyone, I hope that you're all doing well x
I've been watching a lot of Study with Me videos recently and while I've been revising in the holidays, I thought that I'd make one too!
I know that this isn't as productive as I could have been and I did spend a lot of time moving from place to place, but I feel like as long as you finish what you set out to do that day, it's all good!
Also, one final note, the number of hours that you do is not an indication of the amount of work you've done, or how productive you've been! You could do the same amount of work in 2 hours that takes someone else 5 or another 30 minutes, so it's always better to count in terms of work, rather than hours!
