Tribe Zion at Paddy O'Leary's - The Heat
March 25th 2011 - Paddy O'Leary's at Pensacola Beach ,Fl
This is Tribe Zion performing their original song The Heat. This is one of my favorite Tribe Zion songs. I recorded the live audio and video with a Sony VX-2000 DV Camera and used a portable digital recorder patched into the house board to record the vocals, bass drum, and some horns isolated from the crowd noise. I mixed the different sources together and made what I hope is a decent live recording that captures the vibe of the live band. Enjoy guys! I have more of this performance that I am working on. Oh, and I make a little cameo at the end when I go to adjust the board. As you can see, I wore all black so it would help me blend in to the background better when I had to run behind the band.
The Break Bar Pensacola Beach
When the day calls for an ice-cold one and a break from the bright beach sun, check out one of the cool bars dotting the beach.
The Break Beach Bar is a haven for locals. Here, customers can shoot a game of pool or hustle your best bud at ping pong, two of the games the bar offers to its loyal locals.
Happy hour is 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. Live music is available every Friday and Saturday night and there's never a cover charge at this colorful locals' hangout.
Matt Hartley and David Kelly opened The Break Beach Bar eight years ago. Bartender Julie Ford has seen the locals (and tourists) keep the doors open during hard times.
We're known by locals for having some of the best bartenders, Ford joked. The Break Beach Bar is just a favorite locals' place to enjoy a beer and play some fun games.

Pensacola, FL Ice/Snowstorm 2014-01-30 Part 10
Just a two-day-later follow-up.
Probably the first nasty ice/snow storm in over 20 years. We have no salt/sand or plow trucks, no assistance, no help, and the people here have no idea how to drive on ice.
WHAT A MESS!
