Delaware Seashore State Park - Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk - SSAS1E2 repost
Our first main destination on our summer away was the Delaware Coast! Let us take you on a tour of wear we stayed, Delaware Seashore State Park, and Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk as well. The area up here is beautiful! We celebrated the 4th of July at this location.
And if you are curious about the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, we'll show you a lot of footage of a crossing! A much better option to get from Virginia to Delaware!
If you're thinking you've already seen this video, you are partly correct... I had to take down the original, and edit out the drone footage before reposting, as drones are not permitted in any Delaware State Park. We were not aware, so we wanted to pass that info along!
If you like this video, don't forget the thumbs up!

Everwine Finds visits the Newark Farmer's Market in Newark, Delaware
Join host Michele Everwine as she searches the Delaware Valley for the best mom and pop shops, restaurants, artists, and crafters.
For our first episode, Michele and the crew visited the Newark Farmer's Market in Newark, Delaware. There were a ton of great booths, including crafters, farmers, a musician, and even an architect offering home improvement advice for 25 cents!
We took a few minutes to speak with Koi-on-the-Go, a food truck that specializes in fish tacos, Rosehill Plantery, a local nursery that has been in the area since the 1800's, Honey & Penny's, who make treats especially for dogs, and the Newark Natural Foods co-op, a grocery store and cafe who specialize in natural and organic foods.
You can visit the farmer's market every Saturday and Sunday from May to November, rain or shine, from 9am-3pm. The address for the farmer's market is 230 E Main St, Newark, DE 19711

Celebrating Delaware’s Agricultural Diversity, Linking Local Producers to Consumers
MAY 21, 2019 -- Delaware Grown Week – a campaign highlighting the fruits, vegetables, and value-added agricultural products produced in The First State – officially launched today with a kick-off event at the Rehoboth Beach Farmers’ Market including Secretary of Agriculture Michael T. Scuse, state legislators, and other officials.
State Rep. Lyndon Yearick, R-Camden-Wyoming, authored the legislation creating Delaware Grown Week in 2015. He said one of the goals of the partnership between the Delaware Department of Agriculture (DDA) and the Delaware General Assembly is to facilitate closer relationships between farmers and local consumers.
“Fresher food translates into better nutrition, better taste, and the potential for creating healthier eating habits,” Rep. Yearick said. “And when consumers spend their food dollars locally, they support Delaware’s family farms and spur our economic activity.”
While fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs are a highlight of farmers’ markets, about half of Delaware farmers’ market sales are typically tied to agricultural products such as meats, cheeses, jellies, breads, salsa, eggs or honey, facilitating small business start-ups.
“We know consumers – both Delawareans and visitors to our state– are seeking out local food options because they are more and more interested in where their food is produced. Having an array of locally grown, fresh in-season produce encourages consumers to try new fruits and vegetables and eat healthy,” said Delaware Secretary of Agriculture Michael T. Scuse. “With the kickoff of Delaware Grown Week today, I am pleased to announce the release of the new Delaware Grown website. Through the use of an interactive map, DelawareGrown.com helps consumers find local products from fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey to Christmas trees and other value-added products. This is also a resource where citizens can go to learn how to cook using locally grown produce, meet many of our farm families, and learn neat tidbits about the specialty crops we grow here in Delaware.”

Historic Lewes Farmers Market - Opening Day Time Lapse 2012 -- Lewes, Delaware -- SugarFly Studios
I mounted my GoPro camera to one of the barn doors around the food demo kitchen at the Historic Lewes Farmer's Market in downtown Lewes. The food demo kitchen is directly across the Bella's Cookies booth -- a natural and organic bakery which I am very fond of as my wife is the president and head baker.
Here you can see the hustle and bustle of the Lewes Farmer's Market on opening day. I missed the early crowd as I was busy under the tent, but managed to mount this around 9 am. You'll notice the DE State Representatives and Senators gathering around the kitchen as the market officially unveiled it's plaque for Best Medium Sized Farmer's Market in the country. Good job HLFM. I'm in the red shirt.
