Riverview Railway ride at the Peterborough Riverview Park & Zoo
We're riding aboard the Riverview Park's mini railroad. Located in Peterborough, Ontario. Great place to bring your kids for free and near free entertainment. The rail road is almost a mile long and the train ride takes about 10 minutes to comeback to the station.

We all enjoyed walking through the Riverview Park and Zoo. We didn't check everything out this time because of rain but we will be back again soon.
The park is great and best of all free including the zoo. Train rides are $2 but it does not run in the rain.

Body discovered at Peterborough Riverview Park and Zoo
Just after 8a.m. Emergency Crews responded to reports of an unconscious person called in by Riverview Park and Zoo staff. Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to the Picnic area of the Zoo, upon arrival paramedics pronounced the person deceased. Riverview staff quickly secured all area leading down to the picnic area until police had a chance to close it all off. Police are on scene investigating including detectives and the forensic unit. No further information is available at this time but I will update the story once more becomes available.

This place is pretty family awesome. You can go fishing, picnic, water park (for kids), zoo and a bunch of other things.
The best part, it is free!
Staff is very friendly and the region itself is a blessing. Peaceful with lots to do.
To avoid bothering the fauna and families, we kept our UAV high in the sky.
