Rockwood Conservation Area in Ontario, Canada
Rockwood Conservation Area is located along the Eramosa River between Guelph and Acton in Ontario, Canada. This is just outside the Greater Toronto Area.
Rockwood is a popular day use park with a beach, hiking trails and some of the most extensive caves in Ontario. The campground has just over 100 sites and has been open to the public since 1963.

Canada Squad 2017 - Camping Rockwood Conservation Area
El tercer fin de semana estuvimos de camping en un parque natural muy bonito con bosques y lagos. Y la verdad es que me(nos) encantó, a pesar de los mosquitos y demás bichos (mejor ni preguntar) que nos comieron y dejaron unas ronchas que pa qué.
Nos montamos en las canoas, algunos de forma más accidentada que otros; tostamos marshmellows en el fuego y esas americanadas que tanto nos gustan, nos apagaron el fuego a las 3 de las mañana para que nos fuéramos a dormir después de una noche de vinicos y confesiones (bendito yo nunca que saca todo el salseo a la luz), y, en definitiva, fue un finde de 10.
También echamos nuestras lagrimitas, todo hay que decirlo. Pero los momentos bonitos y emotivos nos los guardamos para nosotros, que así son más especiales.

Eramosa River Cataract, Rockwood Conservation Area Canada
From its source in marshy ground near Everton to its confluence with the Speed River at Guelph, Ontario (Canada), the scenic little Eramosa River follows a glacial spillway created nearly fourteen millennia ago at the end of the last Ice Age. En route, it forms several cataracts in the Rockwwod vicinity including one adjacent to the ruins (1867 - 1925) of the Harris woolen mill and dam in the Rockwood Conservation Area, a Grand River Conservation Authority property.

This amazing Rockwood park is one of the best place to relax, refresh and have fun with your family and friends. I'm sure you will enjoy the hiking trails, lowering limestone cliffs, fantastic caves and glacial potholes. This is considered as one of the world's best natural wonders that you can be proud of. Best for picnic and camping area.
