Borderline Offensive @ Röda Sten Konsthall, Gothenburg [SE]
The Swedish leg of the #BorderlineOffensive tour stopped at Röda Sten Konsthall for a pop-up exhibition from 9-18 august 2019, curated by Mariangela Mendez Prencke.
The exhibition included 4 transdisciplinary projects that explore and confront issues of identity, community building, xenophobia, extremist discourses, mobility and migration between Middle East and Europe and the cultural conflicts that arise from it. To provoke a dialogue about such difficult issues, the projects turn to humour and playfulness. As Borderline Offensive states: “a real and equal interaction between people is not possible without sharing the absurdities of life that make us all laugh (together)”.
How can humour help us heal, criticize authoritarian voices, or create bonds? These are some of the questions the four projects seek to explore by engaging different audiences — both newcomers and long-time residents in Gothenburg and Västra Götaland — in participatory activities such as role-playing workshops, puppet theatre, performance lectures, storytelling and conversations).

Röda Sten Konsthall 2016 Yearly Recap
This short film was prepared for the Röda Sten Konsthall ( the most interesting art exhibition location in Gothenburg, not to say Sweden.
It is meant to recap the activities done during 2016 and to thank all people who made it special - once again!
The photographer and editor is Magnus Bergström, and I was assisted by Mikael Moiner during the shooting.

We took the tram to Chapmans Torg on Sunday August 4, 2019 to go for a walk.
This film includes a few clips from the tram ride as well as clips from our walk along the waterfront at Klippan and Röda Sten to Nya Varvet and back.

VAGNELIND & PETTERSSON GRAFFITI RÖDA STEN - CityArt L.L. 2013
PHILIPPINES WAS HIT BY ONE OF THE STRONGEST STORMS ON RECORD. SUPER TYPHOON HAIYAN DEVASTATED THE NATION OF ISLANDS.
CityArt is a collaboration between the two swedish artists VAGNELIND and Lisa-Stina Pettersson. They are making post-graffiti / contemporary public-space artwork, not to be compared with territorial graffiti or vandalism. Their mission is to adapt visual artwork into a format which utilizes public spaces such as projection onto large city buildings. Good friends who share their genuine interest in graffiti, art and surfing.
VAGNELIND works as an artist in the most amazing 260kvm art studio in the historic building Skansen Kronan in the center of Gothenburg. High above the roof tops she is making her contemporary art.
Lisa Stina Pettersson works as a graphic designer and illustrator in a small village south of Gothenburg. Her biggest passion is surfing and it is a must to live close to a good surf beach.
The wall was painted 13-12-04.
